She was originally but they edited it out in order to shorten the animated version. It was initially addressed. It is addressed in the musical version starring Tittus Burgess.

The inspiration behind Ursula in the original classic was the Drag Queen Divine…as they explained in this video and it’s never been a secret, silly. 🤡
