Well, correct me if I'm wrong but the rules were applied properly, suarez used an illegal (edit* I just read the FIFA rules, what he did is classified as a foul, not illegal, yes a cheeky move, but rules were applied accordingly) move and was punished for it properly, not only with a penalty but with a fair red card for Suarez. Dude I'm not even from Uruguay but the whole play understanding the consequences of his actions and that he would get suspended but at the very least give a chance to his team, that I consider to be pretty good.
