Wouldn't cody draw of mystic remora for all the top casts? It would dig a few cards deeper maybe for artifact removal or countering the top?

My thoughts too. I actually play both of those decks 🤣. He would have gotten a decent grip of cards before K’rrik would have gotten from 13 to 51 life. That being said I know who I’m blasting first 😅.

Why was it cody's last draw off Mystic Remora? Wouldnt he still draw for each cast of Top?

Yeah, eventually he could have drawn him into a counter for the Top or possibly removal for K'rrik before he reached 50 life. They should have played that one out.

No because krrik player could have paid life instead of mana, there's a blood celebrant or something that helps with generic mana costs. And he was going to get so much life that he could had paid forever and ever

Each mana costs 3 life there but totally worth it. First time I played that card no one at the table understood why in a mono black deck I would include that, but it's nuts, that has helped me win many games.

Kinda surprised tezzeret didn't get something good with his minus ability. Extra mana is nice but... winter orb is very not nice. Maybe doesn't run stax though, or saw a line I didn't

so technically Cody would have gotten 9 more remora triggers before the aether flux would have been generating enough mana for Logan to be paying all the remora tax through blood celebrant, or if he never paid the tax and just raced to 50 life to fire it would still be 7 draws. Idk if it would have mattered but they probably still should have played it.

why did you guys conced? Cody could've drawn some interaction to stop the combo right? a counterspell or even a Chain of Vapor would've worked since he had a Remora out and would've drawn for every Top cast.

No, Kriik can pay the remora tax with life thanks to blood celebrant.

@@NoBody-ro3xj bolas citadel should have given him 2, then casting the top for the firat time, 3 life, the 2nd 4, 3rd 5, he wont have a problem paying for mystic remora

No way lathril is cedh, maybe high power at best. Especially if he’s not building it in a stax version which it would need to be, to somewhat hang at cedh tables

Love seeing the bolas obvious cookie cutter combo. This is why cedh is boring now. Same combos. If its not this its thassas oracle and consultation. Also i have no idea why u conceded with a cedh deck drawing like crazy off of top? Bad assessment of the game

Infinite damage with Reservoir. Blood Celebrant prevents Mystic Remora triggers.
