It's also interesting how that plays into how the US (and NATO allies) typically talk down our new equipment in order to keep its capabilities unknown from potential enemies, whereas the Soviets (and since the fall of the USSR, Russia) always oversells its equipment by making claims the materiel can't back up in order to make potential enemies scared of it. Effect vs. Intimidation. (Or in the case of the Russian Federation, attempting to sell overpriced and underdeveloped new materiel to other nations in the hopes that those countries would actually front the money to get the actual production capabilities up and running, like as happened for the Armata, Su-57, BMPT Terminator, and a slew of other post-Soviet vehicles that dead-ended before going into full production.)

people forgot that america is a superpower for a reason. we arent a bitch we usually just play passive. and if they think what we are doing in other countries is interfearing with shit with force then they must have failed history class. ww2 is when we became the defacto top country. we have stayed that way ever since in both military and economy. just because some other groups got nukes as well doesn't mean their military power increased in quality. all they did was enter a cold war that never ended. wont end until someone throws a nuke. but then the world ends so :/. but our troops have always been better trained our tactics have always been better. everyone has forgotten that during WW2 once we entered the war we ended the war. passive doesn't mean weak. WW3 hasn't happened yet since china and russia still have half a brain cell left to not attack us. and the fact that 2 countries who could easily become allies do not attack a single country shows they don't want the problems.

As a former sailor do not f with our coffee, do not get in our way to the bar at port and don't sink our house. We don't f around and find out when it comes to damage control. Everyone was trained on that when I was in, it would have taken everyone available to stop that flooding. I do like how the Operation Specialist motto ( OS) in God we trust others we track was mentioned. They are constantly tracking and updating locations of both foes and friendlies. My MOS was the navigation of the ship. I think the biggest navies are Air force or Navy would be 1 and 2 and 3rd is Marine Crops then Army I think. (*edit* I was not in the navy at this time.)

That’s a very true statement: at the end we are all brothers. I was navy, brother was army, brother-in-law was air force, his brothers was navy and marine corp. during the holidays when we all got together there was more trash talking that anybody could imagine ! The gulf war happened and all we talked about the was how significant the other branches are !

That's one of the crazy parts of this story is the last time the navy saw anything like this was in 1943 when we were fighting off the germans and the japanese

As a Veteran, I seek other Veterans for humor, especially when I need a good laugh. Fat Electrician was a (63W I believe is the MOS) Army National Guard Medic…. AKA “Doc”. You should check out his early video he did about 11 Bravos, being a “former” 11B myself it had me cry laughing 🤣

The reaction to his videos and seeing who responds to the veteran humor is amazing. The dark humor just crushes some people and their reaction is almost as good as the story.

I was on the USS Enterprise then I saw the gun camera footage of the second frigate the bomb did go down the smoke stack but it also broke the back of the ship. also the 2 frigates were sold to Iran in the 70's by the US , so technically we just repossessed our ships. also we got know as the Hormuz Highway Patrol. and we painted 2 broken ships on out tower

I have watched FE with others all over the globe, but my wish Americans, specifically military folk, and OMG you two nailed it. No offense to 1, but Sam Sung love the nonverbal reaction, he reminds me of best friends during college which were Desert Storm vets, going civilian, btw to this day still my nickname they call me (Sally): going off topic other than they view FE's video extremely curious their reaction. Anyway I have not laughed this hard, especially Sam Sung's reaction... Thank you for your vid and for others support FE's channel as this dude knows how to storytell. Look forward to your other videos again thank you for the laughs I lacked for many years; nice to be human once again and thank you both.

Brings humor and levity to something that is otherwise very impressive, but also quite sad. As those oil, rigs and boats aren’t just things they were people, husbands fathers uncles, nephews, cousins, real life with lost!!. But I also love the way he tells stories. It’s amazing and again, although people are killed, things are destroyed. He Tells a story in a way that is palatable for everybody. ! ❤
