Current pilot-based aircraft are structurally designed for around 10G (the very best pilots can manage around 9G) but future aircraft and "loyal wingman" drones will likely increase this capability with AI and remotely piloted drones being the future frontline.

This is good, because the US knows that a hypersonic missile simply cannot hit a plane, only a ship or something almost static. Because at match 10, it would simply take too many miles to turn at least 10 or 20 miles or more I haven't calculated it. However, a plane or ship is only a few hundred meters away, so as soon as you see it on the radars approaching it, it just turns and it would no longer hit the target unless it is an atomic missile. In this way, the US achieves a tighter turn for the missile, which it normally would not be able to do with fins alone.

By the way, about the system that helps the pilot, I remember in the USSR they developed a system that returned equipment in autopilot mode if the pilot died or lost consciousness. the system returned to the place of take-off and itself made the landing of aviation equipment. it was tested on the Buran space shuttles and aircraft. was efficient! but then there were upheavals with the collapse of the country. foreign aircraft giants tried to copy the system, but in Russia something is no longer heard about it. probably lost interest.

Think for a second, our boomers can carry 24 trident 2 missles. They can launch all 24 from an unknown location underwater, in under 1 minute and each highly accurate missle can reach out to targets up to 7000 miles away. Before re entry, they can travel at speed up to mach 25, when they re enter, the break into up to 8 individual vehicles, and each one of those can carry up to 400+ kt yield nuclear warheads and each one of those can be targeted to hit seperate targets. The only difference between hyoersonic spoke of recently vs the hypersonic speed missles been able to reach for quite sometime is supposedly the hypersonics russia and china say thay have is that theyre supposed to be manuverable, but do some math a second, with potentially 24 trident 2 missles launched, and each splitting into 8 seperate vehicles , so thats suddenly 192 nuclear missle flying towards your country. Not even the most advanced defence systems can hit all of those, id bet not even half that number on a good day. And that jyst one type of missle and one type of sub. So imagine the ca0abilities we have in the rest of the fleet, not to mention other highly impressive abilities of a boomer, devloped in the 80s to act as a reminder to every would be leader they may start thinking about a first attack on us, you may get the first hit in, but the US will get the last. So yeah, entered into service in the 80s, so what were yall saying about how long before any other country had even the real potential to match it?

It used to be 14 Ohio class SSBNs but I think they're down to 10 now, they converted the other 4 into fast attack submarines. Still, multiply 192 by 10 and we're talking 1,920 nuclear warheads. Even half of that would cause destruction of epic proportion.

@@patrolmanracvNo the US has hypersonic missiles now. We have had them since the 1980. The issue is the US puts alot more technology and money into our missiles than any other BRICS nations. Do you remember when AT&T and Verizon bragged about having the newest fiber optics technology in 2000? I was laughing so hard. Because I was working with products using fiber optics back in 1993, just like we had AI technology back then.

They were stealing plans to the space shuttle and were goin to produce their own. We found out about the theft and fed them faulty plans. Their space shuttle exploded on ramp 1st try. Speed is wonderful, bout that is not make a missile hypersonic. Since all.ballistic missiles can travel at hypersonic speeds. What makes a missile hypersonic, is it is faster than mach five, but maneuvering missile. It is that ability that makes it difficult to stopped, by travel at high speed and maneuvering around enemy defenses.

We must maintain superior equipment when at war period. There is no cost too much for our freedom. At Northrupt Grumman Defense plant at BWI airport skunk works california is well known but BWI is the main radar weapons center. A taxi strip with a canopy goes directly to a hangar for upgrades and the expansion of the Plant at BWI goes well with NSA facility there as well. Many ask why does Dulles airport get almost all international flights over BWI when BWI is the busiest Washington serving airport. Answer is military facilities all around and at and below BWI where we rather keep foreign air carriers out of the area. Truth is Baltimore metro area is so crucial to the defense of America and the entire free world.

That's because the outer skin of the missile developed a tear in the outer skin, and the fuel ignited. When the mishap was investigated, they found out the metal was reprocessed metal from China, making the outer skin, not strong enough to withstand the heat, speed or air velocity.
