Believing to fight a drone with a LASER assumes that the drone will stand still until it is grilled. Putting some cheap photo resistors (=sensors) on the drone which can detect LASER targeting, could start a “crazy” flight pattern program that would make it impossible for the LASER to follow those random patterns. Even if a first drone was shot down by a LASER, other drones (from the swarm) could start their “random flight” patterns after the radio link to the first/dead drone dropped… LASERS are not useful for drones or other small aircrafts which can change their course quickly. LASER can only destroy “sitting dugs” - but those are usually big target that need a long time to get grilled. If LASERS become wide spread, a new “Anti LASER” coating (like a mirroring material/chrome) could be put on potential targets… Is this all only obvious for me???
