She was born in Canada but it was Romania where she first picked up a racket and realised she loved the game, before eventually moving back to Canada again. Andreescu started playing tennis at age 7 in Romania when she lived with her grandparents for a while, if I remember right.

I’ve been paying attention to this girl since the beginning of the year and I said that she was dangerous. I was right lol. Bianca is very consistent and versatile. As long as she doesn’t get a major injury, this athlete will stay at the top for a long time. I can see it.

I agree 100%. She has every shot in the book and can play it any way you want. Power, finesse, slice, drop shot, lob, serve, mental strength, composure - you name it she has it. As you said, the only thing that can stop her is major injury

And also with her romanians parents. Of course she will play for the country who helped her to become what she is already. A real Champion and not a fake one like Simona Halep. And won the best Grand Slam in the World. Serena Williams really wish to win this time because if she will win US Open just one more time she will be the best tennis player in the History. Wimbledon or Roland Garros do not offer her this chance. My point is the grand slam power are Australian Open and US OPEN. The European grand slams are not anymore that important because of financial and political problems from France and UK. Macron and Brexit.

Or are you now saying that Simona is not Romanian because you don't like her, and RG-Wimbledon are not Grand Slam because of political and financial reasons? A tournament is great or not based on its history of great matches and great players. I can give you 2 pages full of links where the greatest players like Federer, Sampras, Evert, Navratilova, etc... say that Wimbledon is the greatest Grand Slam (and I'm not British). Check your facts.

I know this may be hard to believe but she’s an old classmate of mine. I remember her from when we very little because even then she was playing tennis from a very young age. After every class she’d go to her lessons and seeing her achieving so much and creating history is so heartwarming to see. I’m so so so happy and proud of her and am glad to see she hasn’t changed one bit. One thing that has always stuck is how driven and hardworking she is. I’m so happy to see you doing so well bianca❤️

Dependant on how long she,lasts on / in the circuit . Whose to say really . Could potentially be as they say , " a one time wonder / a one,time hitter " . Goes for anyone & everyone whom enters such a sport -- men's or women's circuit .Truly makes no difference . When she is still playing 20+ yrs diwn the road , like both Serena & Venus are doing ; like Federer & Nadal are doing -- then maybe talk will be had again . But for now -- " a one time wonder" is all that most athletes consider her as being . Time Will be the deciding factor -- such it is with any sport for any potential athlete .
