Just as the US is destabilizing the Middle East to contain Iran, and Eastern Europe to contain Russia, the US is destabilizing Southeast Asia vs. China.
The US is focused particularly on Myanmar where US backed opposition groups are using armed violence to seize power.
Through US gov orgs like the National Endowment for Democracy, the US is supporting these armed groups beyond Myanmar's borders in neighboring Thailand, endangering regional peace and stability.

i saw that image that bill clinton brought as gift to vietnam in 2006, which also showed the ordinance dropped on Cambodia, a neutral country at the time. it showed 2 or 3 times the amount of the wildest guesses, not just along the border, as was thought, but hundreds of kilometers into Cambodia. the creepy khmer rouge really came to power only because they were the only ones to oppose the US. later on, after the Vietnamese tried to clean up the mess, US and UK sadistically supported the khmer rouge, just to piss off the Vietnamese, prolonging the war, with the help of Thailand, essentially on the backs of Cambodian kids, who lost their legs in droves due to mines - there are entire hospitals just for these amputees. it never left me what the US did to Cambodians, who never did them any harm. - talk about a truly evil empire from hell!

We did remember it's the Myanmar military junta who release Aung San Sukyi and allowed her to run the government but eventually noticed that they are foreign nationals from the US, Britain and Australia who are in her administration influencing n controlling her decisions. Which is the reason why they arrested her and once again took over the government to restore their independence from excessive foreign influence which is detrimental to the sovereignty of any country

Thailand will bear the brunt of a conflict escalation in Myanmar. Already thousands of Myanmar nationals have fled to the neighboring countries for work. Thailand has a large number of Myanmar workers in Chiangmai and Chiangrai. The Thai community will have to bear the heavy socioeconomic costs.

Thank you for highlighting Myanmar. I'm not too familiar with the current state of affairs, but few days ago it appeared in my consciousness and the very question as to what _exactly_ is happening there. I'm aware they call it something like a civil war, or like Buddhist monks fighting each-other here in the west, but that doesn't subsantiate or clarify at all the root causes to the wreck that has been sought there by the US. Or how they wish to portray China as the instigator, how the BRI has caused desctruction and what not. Again, thank you immensely for I know how much goes into diving into each subject of its own and people like myself need this insight and the assistance into the research to bring us closer to the reality and truth. I hope to support to support you monetarily soon, though it wouldn't be a subscription, I sincerely wouldn't mind you monatising upon your socials, but respect the dignity, morality, sincerity you put into this decision/your work.

I used to think Thailand was the only Southeast Asian country never colonized by the West. Yet it appears it is, in a way, colonized by the U.S. in the 2020's. Unfortunately, my own country (the Philippines) has long time been friend to the U.S. since the early 1900's. Henry Kissinger was right. It was all about protests against Marcos-U.S. Imperialism. During the Martial Law years throughout the 1970's there were unreported 10,000 missing most of them political activists.
