In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the F22 Raptor escorting the new B21 Raider in a strike mission in the Pacific ocean. Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

I've been trying to pitch an idea to GS but I don't think he's seen my comments. You two are excellent in the Raptor. Mission: Destroy Russian VIP RU side gets modern fighters and AWACS as well as 2 Su-57s which can launch only if you are detected or if VIP is killed. Then, you have to make it out alive.

I believe B-21’s exhausts really are that small. Previous stealth designs, the F-117 and the B-2, also have similarly small exhausts as a part of a system mixing the exhaust gasses with cold air in order to reduce the jet’s IR signature. BTW, if you’d be interested in getting the B-21 mod for yourself, the name of its creator is CurrentHill.

Any submarine Captain with any degree of sense would NEVER approach enemy warships on the surface unless he had a death wish or was trying to defect. A submarine on the surface is like an F-22 flying around with his weapon bay doors open, fuel tanks on the wings, and his landing gear deployed. Completely defeats the entire purpose.

LRASM's are cool missiles and being low observable i expected hits on the surface fleet. Perhaps DCS hasn't modelled it too well? Still it was a fantastic mission to watch. I think that the B-21 looks like a manta ray swimming through the sky. The ghost grey paint work does look tremendous too. The opening cinematic looked gorgeous as well. Long may your efforts continue. ❤😊❤

they are no harder to shoot down than harpoon within visual range. And ships typically have very capable short range air defences for that purpose.

@@jamison884 jamming and electronic warfare only works with radar, Within visual engagements is all IR and I dont see LRASMS dropping any flares. The new russian ships are able to defend themselves because they have SHORAD that have electro-optical and IR targetting.

@@jamison884 Within the engagement envelops of ship based SHORAD you're basically so close that radar stealth doesn't work even if you have some degree of thermal stealth. Against a large ship based AESA radar, even F22s can be detected at 30+ miles because they're that powerful. Then you have electro-optical systems that can physically see the missile in the visible spectrum. Theres no stealth for that. the Moskva was 1970s technology, hardly cutting edge. It was also likely in a severe state of disrepair since it was slated to be retired but the war drafted it into service.

Longshot, the B-2 Spirit and B-21 Raider bombers have a lower radar cross section than the F-22 does. You're a bigger target even though you're smaller. :D

Those terrain following cruise missiles that the b-21 raider are similar to the KEPD 350 and a few others which are really long range. They or I should say their size will come up. The radar is half the size of a F-16 or 2/3 to size of a GRIPEN or typhoon it's just a matter of the missile calculating the intercept. In the future they will not have a steady course per se. This way the Sam's is what they really are. Will not be able to calculate the intercept. It's not tracking the object per se other than a trajectory. Quite a few. Sam's missed it that came from the b-21 raider but it finally calculated it's trajectory unfortunately. Good show very much enjoyed it. Keep them comin 👊🇺🇸💪💯

When NGAD reaches IOC, the Raptor will not be retired, but it might get some drone wingmen. F-22 will continue to be upgraded for service well into the 2040s. B-21s look menacing in their "thermonuclear white" coatings.

I love your videos, especially the ones playing out a scenario, like this one. I have one suggestion, though - it would be nice if you could credit the makers of the mods you use in a particular video in the description. For example, the maker of the B-21 mod, CurrentHill, constantly releases super high-quality mods, often multiple times a week, and it would be cool if he got more recognition for his work.

@@jamison884 I 100% agree with what you said. You’re right-both the B-21 and the LRASM are CH’s mods. I also agree that it feels like the LRASM should be a bit harder to detect and shoot down. I’ve looked and, just like you, I haven’t found any mention of CH or any other mod creators either.

Stealth is all about minimizing the radar cross section of a aircraft that's why the B21 and F22 have internal bays for their weaponry and the NGAD will be even stealthier with no vertical tail

In my ME I created Sam City. All of my terrain cruise missiles, running iron hand or sead or wild weasel sortie terrain following they're just too slow. Damn Sam's took them out. Bastards ! So I took the initiative and having to make myself to target. Of course to get their radars to light up and so I did and rammed and Mark 82 down their throat. No. Fibbin ! I had the dog 17. Yes 17. J20s would likely see the F22 on IRST before it does on radar. And would likely engage without a radar spike. Considering eurofighters can see fighter sized targets at 30km, and they're over 20 years old. J20s with their newer IR sensors can probably see the F22 about the same distance the F22 can see the J20 on radar.

Anyone saying the J-20 is not maneuverable is wrong, the mod in DCS is not maneuverable but there is this persistent western misconception about what the role of the J-20 is and that is that everyone keeps repeating that it is an interceptor when in fact it is being designed for air superiority as an answer to the F-22. The Chinese have stated clearly that it is not an interceptor used for taking out long range assets, anyone interested in learning more about the J-20 should check out the youtube channel called Eurasian Naval Insight, it is the only video analysis on youtube that has gotten the J-20 right.

The J-20 is actually quite maneuverable I mean I wouldn’t say Raptor or felon maneuverable but it’s up there, so it’s weird it’s not able to turn too well here. I don’t really know if it’s even classified as supermaneuverable though

You can pretty much tell from the wing layout that it's designed for high aoa at speed but low speed turning isn't really its thing.
