Charged particles and electromagnetic radiation from the sun (coronal mass ejections) can be devastating for our planet’s electrical grids, communication networks, satellites..etc. However, electromagnetic pulse weapons, also known as EMC weapons can mimic the devastating effects of these destructive solar flares by generating a burst of electromagnetic radiation that can damage electronic infrastructures here on earth.
