cemf0086 kemper direct passes is why she’s in their. Her long balls were sensational against Australia.! We that kind of weapon in the back but I agree. We will get ripped apart by a Germany or France if our defense doesn’t step up. Alyssa could’ve saved two of those goals too. Just in the wrong position.

The men's national team coach should watch this game, especially with the fourth USA goal. When I was coaching (without benefit of taping and replaying games for the youth teams I coached), I always taught that one attacker must be on the back post, with at least two more arched in between the shooter/crosser and the back post in the advent of a through ball making it through the defense. In this case, Mallory Pugh took the shot on goal and scored, but the positioning of the other players assured someone would have been there to clean up. The USMNT needs to learn these kinds of lessons. It is what divides the success of the USWNT and the USMNT. Good win, USWNT. Best of luck in the World Cup.

The USWNT lost to under 15 Dallas boys team, you know absolutely nothing, and they barely won against the Australian women's team that recently lost 7-1 to the Newcastle boys under 15 team. You need to get educated, if the USMNT vs USWNT the Men will beat the women 15-0 at the very least. Logic here, if the women couldn't even beat under 15 boys, and the Australian women lost to under 15 boys buy a margin of 7-1, what would happen if they were to face a professional men team. Are you that stupid?

@@dakers2052 STFU Results proves otherwise, and that's the basis of all science is based on, the Australian womens team lost 7-1 to under 15 Newcastle boys, there's a reason why there's women's soccer and there's WNBA, it's to give girls a chance, if the Women team is to face the men brazilian team they will lose 30-0, that's just the fact, you talking about technique in a slow methodical stupid game where players do not physically pressure each other much, and just jog around the pitch is a laugh, tactics and strategy change when the level of physicality, speed, pressure, change, the women with their style of game will be hounded and pressured to give up the ball every 3 possession they will have no chance as evident in them losing ALL THE TIME to boys.

@@dakers2052 My data on the Matilda's were recent, so were the Women's national team losing 5-2 to the under 15 Dallas boys. So they did improved over their 8--2 thrashing in 2012 and reduce the score to 5-2 in 2018 against under 15 boys. What excuses are you going to bring up next? The US men's team as bad as they are will whip the women team 20-0 or something, it's not even a debate, the men apply so much physical pressure and speed on the opponent that the women will have no room to even breath, nevermind have a sniff at goal. BTW a team like Barcelona would beat the USWNT 30-0 or more if they tried.

Have the USWNT checked if our team has the proper shoes for the proper surface when they play? I see an awful lot of slipping. Maybe they have to play a certain brand, but that brand should have a variety of cleat sizes available.

Lydia Williams have huge problem with positioning herself against an onrushing attacker. She is caught in two minds regarding how far to venture off her goal line. USWNT fans have been bashing Alyssa Naehar for nothing. Except for the 1st Aussie goal Naehar had little to do with the rest of those very well placed strikes. Even Hope Solo couldn't have saved those. But try telling that to any USWNT supporter!!!
