My interview was 5 minutes long, they only confirmed my ID, name, and we did the history questions, then you have to read 3 sentences and they’ll dictate one to you to write. I had to wait another 30m for the oath ceremony and there I was, a citizen.

Thank you Jackie and Team . I passed and will have my oath soon🎉 My interview was short and fast. No definition asks. The officer was calm lady and very polite. She spent most of her time typing my form 😬 I got 6 answers correct and she just went through stuff I filled in my form. Just make sure what I wrote and what I say are the same. I spent 6 months since applying until the oath. So it was quicker than I thought 😬 good luck everyone ❤️ keep watching videos. Trust me it helps

Hi Jackie! Thanks so much for making all these videos. I had my interview today at 9:30am, I was very nervous but adjudicator was VERY nice. Here the details: 1. Asked Green Card and Passport. 2. Put me under oath. 3. Civil started: a) What does the Judicial branch do? - Failed. b) Name one branch of the Government. c) Who was the President during WW 1? d) Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived? e) Why did the Colonists come to America? f) Who wrote the Declaration of Independence? g) Who is in charge of the Executive branch? Reading test: Who elects Congress? Writing test: The people elect Congress. He asked all the questions on N-400, but did not ask any definition and did not asked for any other documentation. I want to thank you for showing me there’s nothing wrong on asking questions. When he asked if I had any questions, I was ready to say “no” but then I went ahead and asked about how long the waiting time for the ceremony was, I didn’t want to look desperate or anxious but he nicely said: do you have time today? I said: yes. Stay until 1pm and I will put on the list for that group. I couldn’t believe it: Interview and Oath Ceremony the same day. PD: I filed in October 2020. Salt Lake City, UT Office.

thanks a lot I pass my citizen test and had same day ceremony . my timeline was 2 and half months .To everyone taking going through this journey don't stress too much . mine was like 7 minutes long and the officer didn't even ask for one evidence. He ask for my info ,I did the civics and writing , made one change to my application that's it he recommended for approval .

Hi Jackie, thank you for all your Educative videos to help someone like me passed my interview, I passed my interview today, the main interview was like about 15mins. The officer only asked for my marriage certificate and my ID’s and that’s it and I have been married 3times and my husband also been 3 married 3times also. My interview was so straight to the point and no definition was asked.

Thank you Jackie so much for all hard working. I just passed my exam in Chicago. The officer was super nice and the interview was almost 15 mins. I passed civil, reading, writing exams, then he reviewed my N400 app very fast. I think the keys for this interview are to be confident of yourself and your answers, talking clearly, and smiling all time. He didn’t ask me about any of the definitions. The oath ceremony will be in January as what he said because of the holidays. Finally, I want to encourage everyone to keep listening to Jackie videos when you have a chance because they are very useful and easy to understand. Good luck everyone!!

Hi Jackie, I passed my interview yesterday and it was easy. My experience: I arrived early and it was empty because it was Friday 11am. The officer stroke a conversation and we chatted for a bit on the way to his office. He asked me to red, write, and asked me 6 questions and he asked if I wanted a hard bonus question: who makes laws, who signs bills into law, who is in charge of the executive branch, name 1 problem that led to the civil war, who is the vice president now, how many senators are there, bonus: how many amendments does the constitution have. ( he joked about if I wanted a hard one as bonus, I said yes) The entire process from the moment I walked in to walking out took 15 minutes at most. The overall experience was great as the officer and the staff was cordial and helpful, maybe because there was me and other 3 people in the center… Bring all your evidence and paperwork, but you might not be asked for it. I also asked and noticed that they asked if I had taken trips for more than 6 months, I dont think they look at all the trips one by one as long as they are no longer than 6 months. As for the test, I hardly think the questions are selected by the officer, it is computer generated so it seems, I might be wrong. I had thought the prior to the interview that the writing portion has relation with the reading portion. I was asked to read “ who was Abraham Lincoln?” Writing was “ we celebrated thanksgiving in November” I am waiting for my oath ceremony, I hope it’d be quick. Thank you for everything you do, and all the videos you put up.

Hi Jackie, just stopping by to say a big thank you to you and your staff! i just passed my interview yeateday and was super nervous but it went smooth as it can be. Granted the line outside the building held me up but as soon as i got pass the three check points i got called in for my interview. But i just wanted to thank you again, your videos prep me for a giant but when i actual did the interview, it was no giant at all, more like a mouse. Not saying that all interviews will be easy but i literally gave my name/dob/ssn/spouse&kids dob&name, then the civic questions (which i had memorized to the point i remember the actually question itself), the writing and reading test seemed inferior but was required. The hardest part was writing legibly lol. But all funnies aside, i seriously want to thank you! Now, all i am waiting for is the oath ceremony. Once that is done, i can finally say and mean it, “Im Proud to be an AMERICAN!”. Thank you.

These were my questions… the one asking about Benjamin Franklin, why 50 stars, name of the Vice President, 2 rights in the Declaration of Independence, who makes federal laws, and the last was name one right only for citizens. The writing and readying test was - what state has the most people? ** 5 minutes total, and he only checked my marriage certificate. Thank you for all the videos! I’ve watched many of them!!

I pass my interview yesterday thanks to all your helpful videos, I studied most of them including interviews vids, the process was 2 hours from walking into the building to getting process, my officer was pleasant and understanding made me feel comfortable then I loosen up. My anxiety was through the roof. Am waiting on ceremonial letter t, once again thank you for all that you do. God bless you!

I had my interview today in Fairfax, Virginia and it went well. The officer was a kind and nice lady who made my very comfortable. After administering the oath, she first asked me to write a sentence, then read a sentence. Then she moved onto testing my knowledge about US HISTORY AND civics. After which she went on to review my N400 application. She didn't ask me for tax papers or about 10yr old traffic citations. It went smoothly and was all done in 15 min. I passed the exams. I would like to thank your channel for the wonderful service you do in conducting mock interviews and providing the right answers.

I passed my interview this past Friday, your videos were so helpful. My attorney didn’t tell me to bring any tax documents but I saw your videos recommending it and it definitely helped. If you’re applying via marriage to a citizen definitely take pictures of yourselves too. I get sworn in next month! I am glad they are doing ceremonies now. If anyone has any questions let me know!

Hi, thanks for your advices my interview already happened, the interview was in San Francisco, it was really fast and they did not ask me what the meaning of the words were, but it is good to have studied them, thank you for help me get prepared. I passed and the N-400 form questions were: What's your marital status I said divorced (I am), they knew I went to Tijuana Mexico twice (I live in San Francisco) and I said it was lees than 24h, I told her that I went to my country (Honduras) last year, that was after I submitted the application, she asked me what the reason of that trip was (I responded visit my parents), she asked me if my parents were american citizens, I responded no, they are honduran citizens, and she asked me what my job was, I told her what I do, and right after that, she asked the six civic questions, in a snap minute (she did not warn me it was the first question)and they were: what does the constitution do, (since she didn't tell me that was the first civic question I wasn't sure what to say, but I ended up responding automatically the right answer) we elect senator for how many years name one of the longest rivers in the US what's the name of the vice president now the federalist papers supported the passage of the constitution, name one of the writers. I can't remember the 4th question honestly (I think it was when is the last day we send tax paperwork or what is the capital of my state) Its is good to say that that she didn't ask for any document, and the reading and written test was: read this and say it out loud: what is the capital of the united states write this: washington is the capital of the united states then she congratulated me and the oath of allegiance was taken one hour after (at 3pm) well thank you for everything.
