The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is launching a $2.2 billion grant program to address discrimination in how farm subsidies were given out before 2021.

The most amount they could get is 500k. But no one is going to see that amount

This is a slap in the face...once they divide the money up between all the black black farmers they will get like 40k each

Are they going to have to pay the grant back like they would with a loan or is this just more free money based on the color of your skin?

Shut your very ignorant mouth! The grants are available because black farmers have been historically DENIED loans and access to federal money based on the color of their skin. WHITE farmers get subsidized funding (free money) EVERY single year for raising crops they know they will NEVER be able to sell. Don't see you hear bitching about that.

Grant is free money that doesn’t have to be paid back. If they have to pay anything back then it’s not considered a grant

As black farmers continue to be crushed out of existence, whiny gas lighting racists continue to complain that they dare be given a lifeline after decades of systemic decimation.
