This video answers the question: What is an integrated system test plan?
The crux of integrated system testing is ensuring that all of the integrated systems work as designed. The most important document to use for this is the fire alarm input-output matrix.
From your NFPA LiNK dashboard, navigate to NFPA 4, Standard for Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety System Testing. Open Chapter 4 for general requirements. Scroll down to Section 4.2, Integrated Testing Team.
Each integrated test team is required to have an integrated testing agent who is responsible for creating the test plan. The plan’s purpose is to make sure all the integrated fire protection and life safety systems are fully operational from end to end.
