Creating an email template in Outlook is actually very easy. However, USING that template is needlessly complicated! In this tutorial, we demonstrate how you can use a simple macro to write new emails from a template, or respond to existing emails with a template. Hi, this template is something I was looking for a long long time - thank you so much! However, for me it seems to be working only on the day I'm creating it, next day the button (command) is no longer working. Is there a setting I should take into consideration for this to stick indefinitely?

I used this macro but the only issue I am having is that if there are more than one names in the "To" field it only replies to the first email name and does not include the other names in the To field. How do I update the code to reply to all of the names in the To field?

You need to create multiple macros (each macro must have a unique name), each of which call to a different file name.

How can I get this macro to work automatically for all emails that I receive? as opposed to having to select an email and then using the special button in the customized ribbon? I want to auto-reply to all emails with a special template. When I use the rule, the auto-reply loses all the formatting. This macro works as it preserved the HTML format. But I want this to be used for each email I receive automatically, without me having to click on the email and then select the button within the "special responses" group that we've just created.

I got the first micro to work but when I tried to add another email template the second one did not work. Do you need to create another Project? I just added a new sub and end sub for the second template what did I do wrong?

I set up the Macro step by step according to your video, but when I click the button, nothing happens, may I ask what might be the problem? The file location & name area are like this "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates\dhlecommerce.oft"

Recently an Adobe plug-in has broken this - if you deactivate that plug-in, it works again. Another option is that your macros might be disabled.

Hi team, thanks for this video. I need one help. If some one sends me a request and i want to send him an auto email reply saying "Hi we have ack the receipt of your mail. Someone from the team will revert on your request. Kindly note the ticket number 0001" can we automate this and once the ticket is closed then he will get the email "Hi your ticket number 0001 has been closed". How can we do this using excel and outlook ?

You'll need multiple copies of the macro - give each a unique name, and have each pull a different template!

Great video. Done everything as you said but the following erro occures. How can I solve it? "The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros."

Within Visual basic go to tools-reference and make sure that Microsoft Outlook library is ticked (enabled)
