Using a Tire Inflator with a Pressure Pot - Great Resin Casting Tip for Beginners!

Күн бұрынAre you a resin caster who wants to use a pressure pot but are either intimidated by, can't afford or don't have the space for an air compressor? Have no fear, you can use pressure pots with simple tire inflators or air mattress inflators! And in this video, we'll show you how.
Here's all the items you'll need once your pressure pot has been converted for resin casting use.

This would have been nice to know before i spent $150 on an air compressor already 😭 But, living in an apartment, I'm sure my neighbors would rather hear my sausage compressor (70db) for one minute compared to 5-10 minutes of my tire pump (which isn't much quieter, really. My Senco compressor is only 1/2 horsepower, but significantly more expensive. The space isn't a big deal as its only 14x12x12.)

If the air compressor isn’t blowing any air, would there be a good reason for it?

My air compressor / inflator was DC. I bought a bad AC -> DC adapter. Volts was right, but check the amps!
