Alpaca is another ravelry companion app that is pretty good. I also really like Knitting Chart, you can upload purchased patterns straight from raverly to it and make notes, highlight them, and it has a built-in row counter that you can set multiple counters to for one project if needed. You can also draw knitting or crochet charts that you can convert into a written pattern which can be really helpful for designing color work!

It's so relaxing watching you knit as I crochet 😆 and it would've been cool if they had a crochet version since I'm slowly starting to dabble with creating my own patterns 😅 but the crop top turned out sooo cute, that red is so vibrant! 🥰(yes def make a black one it would look so good) 😁

I really like the Bellish app too and I 100% agree that it’s very limited. Like there isn’t much you could do. There are really only a few stitches and stuff. But I do still really like it to give me inspiration with stuff and help me a bit when I’m stuck. I mainly use it as a guideline rather than an actual pattern but it’s a good app and I do hope it’ll expand soon.

I learned how to knit a year ago, but never really got any farther than knitting and purling and never finished a project before. I am currently *attempting* to knit a beanie for my cousin's wedding. So far so good! I just wanted to say your videos really inspire me and I look forward to them all the time!

I love how your channel contains a good variety of different techniques and concepts such as colorwork, increasing, decreasing, and different types of bind-offs, as well as how you can slightly alter patterns! I know I sure as heck have a hard time finding and picking a pattern I want to use, and I think that informing others of the possibility of altering them will really help them out. Love your videos! ❤️

Which brand cotton yarns do you recommend? All the cotton yarn I’ve bought is super stiff so I end up crocheting bucket hats or tote bags with it 😩

If you remove the label and tap the ends of the skein it is much easier to pull the yarn from the inside. :)

I am with you and I don't understand how Ravelry doesn't have an app yet. I do use the Alpaca app which is actually really nice, but it's strange to me that Ravelry doesn't have their own yet? I also agree that Bellish is a super awesome idea but there are so few options. Hopefully with time there will be more!

the yarn is acrylic? I'd be curious to know how it feels after a whole day of wearing. my impression has always been that unless it's wool or cotton it's not going to breathe

I've honestly never had issues wearing my garments made with acrylic yarn. I actually have had store bought sweaters that were made with acrylic and I didn't even notice.

I personally invest in natural fibres for my hand knit sweaters, but I buy acrylic sweaters from stores all the time and they wear just fine.

Thank you for the fact that even though you personally really like makeup, you will still film yourself naturally beautiful as well. I fell like no one thinks that they pretty anymore unless you put on makeup. Of course that’s not the case you and everyone can choose to wear makeup or not your still beautiful and makeup is fun if you like.

There's an app for Android called Woolmi that generates patterns. It only makes jumpers at the moment (raglan or drop shoulder) with some customization. Also has a website I think. Maybe check that out.
