Jeanette, in camera the Kingstar thread looks brighter than the other 2. Thanks for doing this demo, for me its also helping me on making the decision of what embroidery machine to get...I've never owned one.

Hi Debra. Yes. I love the Kingstar metallic thread. In my opinion is it really the best one out of all the brands I tried.

I think using a external spool holder helps control breakage. It will feed more evenly 👍🏾 Have fun with you new-found ❤️

You're already addicted! I told you! You can still use those 90/14 needles, Jeanette. They will work just as well and it will give the metallic thread a little more room to move around. I use the 75/11 for metallic also but 90/14 works great too

I always use 11/75 needle. But I always use a new needle when using metallic thread. I too have al those thread and now only use the king star. Gracias Janette!!!!

I really like the look of the Kingstar embroidery better. I just purchased my first sewing/embroidery( Husqvarna Viking Topaz 50 machine ) and reading which threads to purchase. Your video was very helpful.

Hi LaVerne. I prefer the Kingstar. I think the others feel more like wire. The Kingstar thread is also easier to embroider with. Less breakage. You still have to slow down the machine but I think the quality of this thread is better than the rest I tried.

I bought one from amazon (recommended) and it broke every other stitch. ended up having to put in shop. OML Embroidery uses only Kinstar. she changes nothing, and uses regular tension, 75/11 needle, and normal speed. and says it's the best thread for metallics. Also put the thread in a cup or a thread stand, in front of the machine to give more thread rolled out, that helps. i bought Simthread Metallics kit off Amazon that came with 21 colors. Directions said to net and drop tension by 2.

what is the side of Magnetic Hoop that you are using in this video, I bought one it is 4X4. my other question to you is I was looking at how to install BX format, you had made the video about how to install BX? l like to know; I love this video congratulation.

I am using the 5x7 magnetic hoop. Yes I do have a video on how to install BX files into Embrilliance. It's very simple. The video shows you step by step.

Hello, I haven't been able to find anything about getting empty spools for the se1900. I was wondering if you knew what kind of empty spools I could purchase that would fit? I accidentally bought thread that is way too big to fit in the machine and then I bought some empty wooden spools from Michael's and they don't fit all the way through. I hope you reply your videos are very helpful since I just bought the machine ☺️

Hi Sayuri. Get a single thread holder. They would great! This way you don't have to worry about the size of the spool. Here is the link to the one I use: amzn.to/2Q9kjz2

I hardly use the net also. I did it because that was one of the things mentioned in the instructions I received when I purchased the metallic thread.

Hi How are you? When I was embroidering a stuffed animal with my se1900, my presser foot lifter gotten really loose. How can I fix this problem?

I would take the cover off and see if there is a screw that needs to be tighten.

What weight thread do you have in your bobbin? Is it light weight bobbin thread? You make me want to get some matallic thread!!!

Hi Wanda. I use the regular bobbin thread. I don't change it.
