You can use your choice depending on the case. And specifically your choice can be depending also on the position of the teeth. If you are treating malocclusion class 3 so your angulation should be 0 or - without tip effect.

Thank you Professor for all your helpful videos. Can I ask you in a case class II without extraction after mild lower crowdin and using class II elastics: if a lower central incisor start showing exposed root would you use/invert a certain bracket to bring the root more into the bone? Thank you!
@alhuwaizi Жыл бұрын
If the root is exposed cervically that means you need negative torque

What is the difference in the tip in a smaller bracket if it is self-ligating?
@aminaan42 жыл бұрын
I’ve watched your lectures and they’re very informative. I just have a couple of questions, I know you mentioned there’s not really much difference between 18 and 22 brackets. With the coil, is there a difference between the different ones?

دكتور بعد اذنك.. ممكن آخذ رأيك بخصوص مشكلة واجهتني.. the case is CL 1, mod. crowding, upper 6 s are missed. every thing was alright till I reached 17 * 25 NiTi wire, the upper 2s becamed flared, tipped distally. I did all I know to fix the problem, but it didn't work, torque spring, torque bend, upside down bracket, repositioning of bracket, Z bend, change the right to left bracket. the teeth are with normal phisiological movement, good occlusion, enough spaces mesially and distally. no sign of ankylosis. the x_ray showed no Pdl widening, radiolucensy or changes. the bracket used is mbt 22. Please Dr. your kind opinion 🌹🌹🙏🙏

doctor you said larger wire more play but in the pic. the small gauge wire express more force with bracket 22 , as well as in bracket 18 the larger wire play less force as you show in pic. , l'm really confuse now .
@alhuwaizi3 жыл бұрын
Play is less when using large wires and 0.018 slots.
@alhuwaizi3 жыл бұрын
Using .022 slot gives more play and allows you to use larger wires which give more force
