Great gear! But i just bought it yesterday and i couldnt connect with my laptop to work as midi , even the screen in the Pro Go keep black, with "Computer Mode" Charging... would like to use it with serato or VDJ to try stems... Ah, also the Midi isnt working on VDJ but if i set it by myself it works, but well the idea is what works without any issue... Somebody with the same problem and fixed?

Hi! Good video, thx!! One question; How can I setup the FX ”intensity” to be something else than 60%? I mean statically, not so that I need to change it continuously.. That 60 is just way too much for my taste… Thx!

Creo es imposible usar cue 5,6,7 y 8! Correcto? Solo permite usar 4 cue. Asumo que no hay forma de darle mapeo con una especie de doble capa.

I'm thinking of upgrading this one from my party mix and numakr mixtrack (2012) version, is this a nice upgrade? Can't afford right now the Rane 4 actually lol. Also does this have mic integration as well?

This is a great update over the Party Mix and Mixtrack series. Since it runs on Engine DJ, it gets a lot of the same great features and updates that the higher priced Denon DJ gear gets. Yes, it has a mic input (1/4")

No, you’ll have to DJ in standalone mode on the Mixstream to access your SD music

I'm looking at getting this for my 1st dj controller and I am wondering if this would be a good controller to start out with. I'm hoping to eventually play professionally and wonder if this could work for events ,until I can afford a real pro set up? The other controller I was looking at was the NSFX4, but i would have to buy a used laptop in order to get started with that one, so doing that would total the price of this device. So I'm curious what your thoughts are on this matter, thanks.

Honestly, i have the mixstream pro (normal) since about a year and its the best. I bought it from a friend who wanted to upgrade to a new controller. I do not regret it at all. These machines are incredible.

It really is one of the best ways to get into DJing, the WiFi lets you mix with streaming music vs purchasing it, you don't need a laptop, it has built-in speakers so that you don't have to purchase monitors, and it runs on full-featured software.

No, Standalone Mode and Computer Mode are currently completely independent from each other, so when you switch from one to the other, the unit has to restart. Currently, you can only use Stems with Serato while the Mixstream Pro Go is in Computer Mode only.

After using for a wild since you bought the Numark Mixstream Pro Go console, how has it gone? What has been your experience. I have been evaluating consoles to get started in this world of DJing to see if I can do it. Do you think it's good to start off on the right foot? Will I be able to sell it easily if I'm not good at DJing?

Full disclosure, I work for Numark, so I got the original Mixstream Pro way back before they were available for purchase. I can honestly say it is one of the best units to start with, due to the fact that it is standalone (no computer needed) and has Wi-Fi for streaming. Plus the speakers make it easy to practice. With all the free trials available for the streaming partners, you can try out DJing without spending any money on music. I can't think of a lower cost entry point to DJing, since most of them will require you to use a laptop or cell phone (not ideal).

Can you remap the stems instead of having them under roll pads

You should be able to map them wherever you'd like, Serato allows you to custom midi map the Stems elements, but it may or may not override the original function of the pads. It may take some trial and error.

@@bpmdjpro i tried mapping the Fx stems for a smooth echo when using fx onto the roll pad but it ends up taking all your pad modes away. Even the cue banks turns to the midi maps function.

@@mixx_factory must not be possible, probably should just reset your midi mappings back to the default in Serato and just map the two extra buttons by the screen as shown in the vid

I’m fking mad as hell!! So what else do I have to download? !! I just wanted to make some music. I am pissed out of my mind I spent this kind of money. This ain’t cool . I downloaded the Sorrento DJ light nothing happens. I’m tired of looking at computer screens. I am pissed.

Just use it in standalone mode, you don't have to have Serato to DJ, it's just another option for you.

@@bpmdjpro nothing on it says stand alone. It just plays the sample’s and lets you kind of scratch a little bit. There are no standalone options on the screen. Nothing it does nothing but the sample songs. I don’t understand I just found something by the same company called the PT scratch? I’m thinking damn I got ripped off. I didn’t really even want just for scratching. I just wanted to make beats so I could have something to jam to / my own music…without the Internet.
