Thank you! I couldnt figure out how to use the Join and Bridge tools, they kept giving me fatal errors. Followed your steps to cut some material and worked like a charm.

Just getting into this for different applications. I like the .3mm offset tip to fit onto the model. Regarding the 1.5mm offset at 3:30, could you just check “connected”? Or is it really artifacty like when you extrude?

I've had a lot of success doing exactly that, although my models are a bit larger and less detailed than what is shown here, so YMMV

I don't expect an answer, this guy has better things to do... like help people have teeth so they can chew food. I wish this video helped me like it seems to have helped others. It seems to be just different enough to leave me not knowing how to apply it. I'm trying to bridge 2 solid objects that have faces pointing towards each other. They are free of errors according to the tools. I have carefully selected the faces (that I want to bridge), optimized, smoothed, then saved as a face group for easy selection later. I combined them so the faces can be selected at the same time. When I choose bridge I get a non-descript error. I've tried bridging only the smallest of areas on each side. Nope. I've tried re-meshing. I've tried the whole offset and invert but it doesn't make sense for what I'm doing. Still Nope. I've been at this for > 10 hours over the course of days and have tried what must be 100 times without success. This is one of those skills that has a barrier to entry so high that it discourages most people. The people that are in a position to aid are usually in positions where they don't sit around all day answering questions to stroke their ego. Documentation for this feature doesn't exist (outside this video).

2 ways.... select 2 areas...... then edit tube handle. Or, select 2 areas and delete.... now select each hole boundary and join
