That scanner is really great, between the scanner and the printer you can do all sorts of stuff.

I have been looking at one of these for a while to do some prototyping. Have you used it on smaller objects at all? I've seen mixed reviews on being able to verify the resolution of .1mm. Most of the stuff I'd scan for personal use would be under several inches.
