You have to change the direction the drum spins to go forward. It also helps to lift the bucket off the ground.

Put a vibrator motor and inch minus screen in the bottom back corner of the collection bucket will fix the fine soil collection problem.

Hey Neil: if it needs to operated in Reverse, why not pull it behind a tractor? Easier to steer straight I’d think.

Neil, are you aware of a 3pt hitch implement called a pacer box? It levels ground and has teeth in the front then a box area with a thick cutting edge followed by a spike roller. If I google pacer box heart pace makers come up! A pulverizer is close but they are an I beam design. This thing is a box design. What is this thing called!? Levels ground great!

On a side note, you should do a video on Kubota’s horrible filter design on the svl’s. I was shocked how much dust got by the filter because the hard rubber gasket doesn’t seal well, especially once the filter gets a little compromised. On my new svl75 I checked mine after a few hours in gravel dust and the amount of dust in the box behind the filter was absurd. I use foam tape on the filter housing and get no blow by dust. Tip: only use the recirculate when your not in dust, opening kills your positive cab pressure. Personally i dont use it or run with the cab open. Kubota does have a foam gasket that goes on the svl’s but quit shipping them with them or stopped using them..i dont know. The part number is v0641-39830. For some reason the part number doesn’t pull up on messiks website. Weird. But care should be taken if you want your hvac to last..as long as possible before you have to rip the evaporator out and clean. Not a fun job.
