I saw another video using the laminator and she placed a couple of half sheets of copy paper behind the card and it came out good with just one pass. I tried it and it worked well. Just another possibility.

What is the cardstock you are using? I am using 140lb paper and it does not stick yet when I try it on normal paper it works fine..

What kind of paper did you use? I've done it with cardstock but I got airpockets.

Thanks for this demo. I just bough a bunch of Minc stuff from Joann's on clearance (no returns) hoping I could just use my Scotch Laminator. Whew....I saw one before yours and she couldn't do it...but she didn't use your technique.

i am a bit confused. how did the foil stick to only where the ink is on the paper? am i suppose to apply something or the foil just sticks to the black ink automatically? sorry absolutely new to this. thank u.
