USING YOUR SINADALIZER SINAD METER AND TINYSA TO TUNE A CB RADIO

If you have ordered a meter or a kit a big thank you, on this video we look at how you can use this relatively inexpensive (compared to desk FM signal generators and radio test sets) compact and tidy little setup to align FM radio receivers, in this example we use the Tinysa and the Sinadalizer meter to peak the receive side of a 40 year old Rotel RVC220 CB radio.

That little battery powered meter looks very tidy Paul,nice job.Those Tiny SA Spectrum Analyzers are great fun too,really surprised me for the pennies.

Hi Paul, just to confirm you have the Sinad plugged into the speaker socket or connected to speaker terminals inside the CB radio and you have the Tiny SA plugged into the SO239 Antenna socket of the Transceiver, I'm looking forward to using mine this weekend, Thanks for a great bit of kit

How did you come up with the accurate divisions between +2 and -20? I understand the full and null deflection calibration points, but what about in-between?

Hello Knoxieman? Can this Sinad equipment also be used on CB radios that have SSB? Or is it only suitable for equipment with Fm/AM?? Could you make a specific video for equipment with SSB...
