I've been a CCA for about 2 months now, and your experience sounds a lot like mine. Hang in there! Just keep doing your best, stay positive. It does feel like getting thrown to the wolves, haha! It's a rough ride, but you'll get it! Don't let anything get you down, and just remember to take it one day at a time. Sending you good vibes and good luck! --new CCA in Arizona

No problem. Take in as much info as you can, and retain it. It's going to help out in the long run. I see someone has let you know about another channel. I'm going to give my experience as it comes, but CCA Nick has been in it longer than me and can give you some good advice through his videos as well. Everything USPS With Jay h (I hope I got that right) is also a good channel. I appreciate you taking your time to listen to my videos though. Good luck with your process.

You’re lucky. I’m almost a year in. I have a hold down on a route. Report at 7:30, case it up, hit the road. With a 2 hr kickoff and we go help the regulars that can’t finish in time. We are working 60 hrs a week. Today is my first day off in 18 days! Peak season is even worse

Sup man! I just applied for Austin district 3, but I reside by north Austin. I just hope traffic isn’t as bad when commuting in the morning. Thanks for your videos , just passed the 474 and now waiting for the next steps

That's what's up man. What position did you apply for? And Austin traffic is terrible lol. I wanted to take a Route at the South locations do I could deliver to Dove Springs where I know the area. But I would hate my life Driving from Pville. But CCAs start early, so the traffic shouldn't be that thick.

Oh yeah they’ll put you out there QUICK ! Training what 😳😳 they don’t believe in too much of that ….I was a CCA in Charlotte for 3 weeks before switching over to a PSE inside but yes the management is A MESS !!! But I know you did FINE!

I appreciate that. The day after I posted this video, they suprised me and said, they're going to have me doing PSE work for the majority of my time. I'm not feeling that... But I will help out in the office sometimes. I just like being out in the world.

@dietryin9710

Yes use that sequence number. It’s much easier. Also, use the trays that the dps comes in to put them in sequence at the front of the llv. If you load your truck right. Use should be able to fit at least section 1, maybe section 2 also in the front of the llv. Depends on the route and station. Less stopping to arrange parcels. I can usually fit at least 3 trays of parcels and spurs in front of the llv

I was about 2 week before I did my first route. And it's sporadic. I did my first route, then they put me back in training.... Then today i did my first day of only packages by myself today. I think I'm going to be back in two ton training tomorrow. Honestly, I find out what I'm doing to do, the day before usually. Hopefully that changes soon.
