DPS = delivery point sequence. DPS is basically letter sized mail that is sorted and sequenced by machine in order of your route. FSS = flats sequencing system. FSS is magazine sized mail.

When I started as a mail handler I was considered career from the first day. I was a PTF for 19 months. Been there for 17.5 years now. Cool seeing how other crafts work.

I have an llv on my route via rural. Watched how the city sets up to deliver and no need to mark packages. Yes, it takes some time to get fluent on casing and delivering the mail.

I started as a cca about a month ago, liking the job so far I like walking routes more. Mounted is so annoying dodging all the stuff on the streets.

I used to try and bring packages along with me on my splits but I have just been hoping them all before or after or doing all the evens up to my parking point then all the odds after it seems to be quicker that way for me.

I should do a day in the life of a rural carrier, it's crazy how differently we do things and just how much more volume we get.

I will be starting the orientation in 2 weeks for CCA. Really glad I watched this video as it lowered my anxiety a bit haha

the tray in the LLV holds 3 trays From back to front I did non cased sprs then machined mail then cased flats and letters If managements sees this in my old office automatic time wasting practice You either have the easiest office or don't know yet Good luck

I’m coming up on my evaluation. For the most part I am good but I’m not understanding why they would give me an entire route to finish in 2-4 hours. Which logically can not be don’t maybe 6/7 hours. I try my best but I always bring the mail back. IT DONT make sense to me I’m really beating myself about that part. I’m always being talked about I’m not suppose to bring mail back I’m like it don’t make sense it CAN NOT be done!!! I’m really thinking about quitting just because of this one issue

I'm opted indefinite on a mounted route and I deliver mail like as if I'm walking. Flats in my left arm and dps on my left hand. It's faster for me.

I always split left side to the driving and left side nbus hope you still working cause they made it illegal to take pictures or videos of mail with address on it ALSO ALL NEW CCA THAT READ THIS OPT FOR A RT AS SOON AS YOU CAN

I mailed at counter Joliet IL post office, two grandsons birthday cards, and they were stolen while in postage procession, thieves in the post office, and usps has failed to respond or talk with me, but if somebody stolen mail out of a mail box, postal inspectors can track them down but not in the post office, go figures.
