In today's video, we tour USS Normandy which was moored at PortMiami for the first-ever Fleet Week Miami. This guided-missile cruiser was one of four ships available for public tours.

Did a deployment aboard USS Mobile Bay as one of the helicopter aircrewmen - for Desert Shield/Storm. Left in 1999, returned to service in Oct 2001 and served another 5 years - most of my early career was aboard frigates with the helicopter detachment - the ending years aboard the carrier in Afghanistan/Iraq. That VLS area deck is a MESS - get some rust-busting !! Nice to see the flight deck and hangar again.
