One thing I really hate about the Soviet Union is that they deleted any footage involving sick or ill leaders. Fortunately, we have finally found a complete and high-quality version of the Soviet national anthem at the October 1982 military parade. September 19, 2023 5:12PM

Well it’s because the West does anything to make Socialist leaders or anything that they don’t like out as bad or anyway to shit on something they don’t like. We notice this with Western coverage of Putin and how they will try to find any sort of twitch in the fingers etc and make thousands of headlines about how Putin is gunna pass away soon or some BS to try and put a smile on a Ukrainians face which is ridiculous. The West is just childish honestly and well it works most Westerners eat it all up. We are all gunna die one day and we all get illnesses it’s just apart of life. And myself being from the West I understand why this exists and it’s because the West is insanely obsessed with failure, disaster, weakness and setback. Our comedy revolves around this actually…Notice how comedy from the US is focused more slip ups, fails, falls, embarrassment, cringe, drunk people, old people, crippled people, mentally challenged etc. I’m actually very happy the USSR did this because of what I don’t like about the West. You are forced to see and hear the USSR…and forced to see things you don’t like just like we all are.

He did a lot of great work. Not perfect by Socialist standards but there was a reason they kept him in power for as long as they did. Socialist critiques of old Soviet leaders are very constructive and frankly stronger than stupid Western ones.

You can't argue about Putin's decision to appropriate the Soviet national anthem. It is a catchy tune. Unfortunately, it was a prelude to restoring the Soviet Union as an empire, whether the victims like it or not.

It's still going, maybe someday we'll find the full broadcasts of the 1982 and 1983 parades. I will bet you however they will come from foreign sources, as all my Russian sources tell me those recordings are gone.
