so glad you did this video because my father is also a tabla player, he runs his own music academy and his teacher's teacher is ustaad Allah rakha ji , who is Ustad Zakir Hussein's father and teacher so we follow that music legacy in our household as i also learn music from my parents. my father has also met Ustad Zakie Hussein a couple of times and his brother taufiq quereshi ji came to our house, blessed and taught me a little.

Legend from our India. So humble so humorous. He made tabla playing popular. It's joy, treat n satisfying experience watching him play and hearing excellent beats.
