Nirmalya Dey, thank you so much for posting these, they are invaluable. I saw you at Darbar two years ago, incidentally. Marvelous. You too are invaluable!

So peaceful. Folk musician Jody Stecher studied music under Dagar for some time, and wrote a wonderful essay on Dagar as a musician, teacher, and philosopher which I'd recommend spending a moment to search for and read. Dagar's influence on Jody Stecher's musical style is also worth checking out, especially in the piece "Leela Leela," which I archived on my channel.

He is using his left hand to bend the pitch, while his right is used for plucking. So sometimes he moves his right hand like the melody.

When and where was this done? Around 1983 at the ICA London? Sunday morning?

So fantastic! Is there only one instrument playing? Or maybe a veena in the background?

@shushanto Check out Arvo Pärt. He's like the contemporary Bach in my eyes.
