When you posted the preview I thought it would be too long and narrow to be workable, but there’s enough built-ins that someone could be fairly comfortable here. 🤔 This might be my new favorite micro apartment of the ones you’ve showed us so far.

As a micro apartment, I think this is a great use of space. It's areas are clearly designated without making things dark or cramped. A touch screen television/tablet on a wall bracket or swiveling base would work on the desk shelf, and could be turned towards the kitchen area when you are cooking. A tablet computer could be taken from the wall bracket and then you could have another bracket in the bed area. A folding and movable paper screen (shoji?) could be placed to separate the sleeping area without blocking any light. In my bathroom I have a fabric toilet holder that can easily be hung from a hook or towel rail. Opaque adhesive window film and a blind or a second shower curtain would solve the issue of bathroom privacy. I like the wood accents, and having the bath is great. The toilet area at an angle also stops it being too cramped. You will have to travel, and the rent is more expensive, but I really like this one. Also, no ladders! 😊👍👍

Hello Usui, this seems like a really good apartment. A little privacy film stuck to the shower window, pop the induction hob in the corner next to the sink and you have a good working kitchen. You can even check on your dinner cooking from the toilet. Not great, but convenient! Lots of light, views outside, windows beside and in front of the desk/table area. AND A FRIDGE!!! Ice cream time....... A top apartment, thank you for the tour.

My initial reaction was: "Hell no!", but after seing the smart integrated amenities and the possibilities, this is possibly my new favorite appartment! The kitchen is even so well placed that cooking an actual meal would be possible! If the ceiling is high enough, a high bed could be placed there and underneath even some sort of wardrobe/closet to store possessions! Also: this sticky "milk" film for glass (completely peelable and very affordable) on the glass side and door of the bathroom would still keep it light in there, but also private.

Though it is quite narrow in the living room, there is space for a bed (access to underbed storage is reduced unless you add access by putting the bed against the wall). No closet space makes clothing and other storage minimal. For the bathroom, I would definitely put cling deco panels up on the glass walls of the toilet and shower. For the kitchen, it's great to have a fridge, a countertop, a cook top and a sink! Storage potential: you could make or have someone make a small storage item for beside the toilet in the bathroom. I have seen people use those sofa tables where one end goes under the sofa, then recesses and the top goes over the sofa. A basket on the bottom shelf can hold TP, and the top shelf can hold other bothroom needs. The unit would need to be small, like 4" wide. Under the sink area, the drain pipe and water lines are visually distracting. You can put shelving in front of the pipes for storage, snd perhaps under the countertop if there is room. What I like about this apartment is: -Sunny room -A place for each functional area -washer and fridge included -bathroom, though small does have a tub What I thought could be done better: -whole space should be larger by 2 to 4 feet at minimum All that said, this is the best out of all thus far! But keep looking in case something is even better! Thanks Usui!

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the kitchen is. There is a lot of countertop space - you could probably fit a microwave on there. I also like that the fridge and washer/dryer are tucked away nicely. This apartment was not what I was expecting based on your teaser images 😅

After watching these apartments hunting videos, the openness of the bathrooms seems to be a fairly standard thing in your area. I actually really like this apartment. It is bright and sunny, no wasted loft space, and it comes with the essential appliances (fridge, washer/dryer and cooktop). Can't wait to see which one you choose.

I actually like this one. Bigger kitchen area if you like cooking, plus that bigger counter area lets you easily create upward storage racks. I could make this one work. Hanging basket from the towel rack above the toilet and you got toilet paper storage. =-) Probably need to change the blinds to something more one piece. Both for light filtering and privacy.

This one appears to be very convenient to many amenities, and has both washer/dryer and refrigerator. 🎉 I find the open counter area from kitchenette to desktop to be a bonus as well, allowing for the outdoor view of the tree and giving the small space a lot of airflow. The narrow sleeping/living area may be difficult to maneuver though.

Hello Mr. Usui. Yes, at first glance the apartment looks almost perfect, but if we think about it in winter, those walls, which I think are all exterior and mostly glass, are a minus. You will need constant heating. The ceiling is high and not insulated - second minus, the bare concrete cannot be warmed. But if you like the cold, then it's fine. Frosting film on the bathroom and toilet glass, a hanging basket on the towel rail in the toilet and you will have spare toilet paper. In the kitchen, there is enough space under the sink for household detergents. You put the bed against the inside wall to the left of the door and you'll even have room for a cupboard with shelves between the two windows and you'll have space under the bed. And if you are not on the first or last floor/ I vote YES with both hands. The rent is higher, but you are in the heart of the city and you have a choice for everything...Your vlog content is very fascinating.😀

As someone with high anxiety, I find the glass shower to be nice. I could observe the apartment and be less worried while getting clean. Though I'm sure the steam from the shower would fog the window a bit.

I actually like this one. The shape is weird. However it has designated spaces. Kitchen is very nice with the fridge and pretty generous countertop.

I think this is one of my favorites so far! The layout is pretty good since the living/bedroom space and kitchen/bathroom are somewhat separated, the apartment comes with essential appliances and a good sized tub, and the big windows making the room feel airy and not cramped!

The large shower windows you keep seeing are such a confusing choice for the developers to make 😂. Again, some privacy film will solve the problem. Personally, I would choose a loft bed or murphy bed in any micro apartment, this one included. I definitely love that this kitchenetter has more counter top than most!

If the main area was widened just 2 or 3 more feet it would be honestly great cause the amenities are built in really smartly but i couldn’t live in a hallway like that plus it’s more expensive than other better places you’ve viewed

Usui-san, thank you for adding the measurements of the room, it really helps. I like the windows and open kitchen, but my favorite is the one that overlooked the river with the pleasure boat.

The best part about this one are the windows! Otherwise, it’s narrow and hard to work with. Though I do like that all these apartments have laundry in them. My current apartment doesn’t - although it has laundry in the building - and I am really missing having laundry in the apartment.

Me gusta. El espacio está bien aprovechado. Yo pondría una cama con canapé para guardar la ropa debajo... ¡ Y tiene la ventaja de que no te encontrarás solo... puedes hablar con la vecina de enfrente desde la duchay la cama!😂

Hi Usui! You know? I like this apartment!!! Good space in the kitchen, and the open space between kitchen and table is clever. Toilet? Blinds or panel tent and that's it! No storage for toilet paper? You just need a couple of hooks and strong thred and you can hang it! But...the fridge!!! Usui, fridge with freezer🎉 game changer!! For clothes the only thing I can think is a bed container. I really like this place. Great that the shower and toilet are in the corner- no doors in the living area mean you have so many possibilities! The built in table at one end of the room is a great idea, and that kitchen seems spacious for a micro apartment- so much counter space.

My favorite so far! Well defined areas make the difference and I like the counter space in the kitchen would allow actual cooking and for a mini dishwasher to be installed and set up there. A large drawer can be set at the end of the sleep area to store stuff and as a defining feature or bed frame. Possibility to even hang a few little pots on the rail outside. Love the large windows too. Great features!

It's not bad at all. With a futon instead of a bed it woukd be even more convenient I like it ❤

Unconventional micro layouts like this are so fascinating

I like that it already has a Fridge and Freezer combo! The washer is in a good, out of the way spot, the desk area is small but doable, all the windows are very nice. On the downside though, this micro apartments is ridiculously small for the price. Definetly would need storage under the bed for pretty much everything.

Honestly I believe this is quite good and perfect similar to what you already have but most separate which in my opinion it's more comfortable, love how it has everything you need even the fridge, love how the desk it's included and separate from the bed area, and I believe that I saw a little balcony which is a supper plus, what I think it's that the rent is a little bit expensive compared to what you already have that is basically the same, However if does have a Balcony and considering that it has a better space distribution, plus what it has nearby well I believe its worthy of trying ❤ I can definitely see a living there

I like this one. I would put a big chair that makes into a bed. And some rolling tables to hold things and move move out of the way at night. The kitchen is a good size

Well, as per my previous comments on bathrooms with windows, that would be a nope! The actual setup isn’t bad, I quite like it - although I would prefer a more square room rather than the long narrow “hallway” of a room here. I like the way the kitchen is set up, as well as the built-in desk and washer tucked away. My concern with where that washer is would be if it needed to be repaired. Looks like a tight fit that could be problematic to pull it out. 🤷‍♀️ Not sure if the area warrants the rent though. I don’t know enough of what rent should be in the various areas of Tokyo, but that seems high for the size of the place.

This is a nice one! You already have a fridge and a washing machine there and with a bed with storage space underneath you have the same capacity as in your current apartment. Maybe a long drawer as long as the bed or something like this. Plus this small working place where you might fit in another small cabinet. On the counter of the kitchinette also, some shelves maybe? And! Important! Some removable foil for the bathroom to feel more privacy there. All in all, I like this one.

Some nice touches: the washer tucked into the wall, and a 'fridge. I guess all the glass in the bathroom is for light...but it still seems awkward.

There is a lot in a very little space. Get the film for the bathroom glass for privacy and I really like this one!

I love this one. It is long aand skinny but those windows help fix that. You could do the frosted glass look or hang a curtain over the shower area/bathroom door. There could be a tall shelves on the far wall for storage and still room for the bed. The rent is high for what I've seen from your channel but it's in a convenient area. There is no loft to climb up to.🎉 I love that you wouldn't need to figure out where to put a fridge or laundry machine. I would move into a nice little place like that and be content.

I did not expect to like this one as much as I do. The kitchen area is surprisingly decent in size and the way it is arranged. I think this one could be ok, except the bed area is quite narrow. But the big windows would help it not feel too claustrophobic.

It is close to the city and I like the separation from sleep area and toilet/kitchen areas.

This one is okay. It comes with the fridge and washing machine, and the bathroom has walls and a door 😂 All I would need to add would be a bed, a chair, and maybe some over the toilet shelves for TP storage.

Possibility of some small shelves in the kitchen beside the window for food storage or hooks to hold utensils would improve the kitchen. Under bed storage that rolls out as the under bed area would be difficult to access. And perhaps shelf for the toilet paper in the bathroom. I like the squareness of your current apartment at first glance it appears more roomy. However this one has nicely defined areas.

The glass on the door and wall in the bathroom is strange, but it actually makes a lot of sense. It opens up the space and makes the whole apartment feel bigger. You're gonna be alone in here 99% of the time anyway. I also really like the kitchen set up. There was a good amount of counter space. You could alctually do some cooking here. The bed space was also nicely separated, but didn't feel claustrophobic because of the big windows. If I was a minimalist and didn't need space to store stuff, I'd live here.

Привет! Я тут уже много чего успела увидеть. При всей несуразности этой квартиры, она все же имеет много плюсов. Нормальный санузел, большое место для готовки, есть где работать и куда поставить кровать. На кровати будет отлично лежать и смотреть на солнышко - окна большие и поэтому места кажется больше. Но мне показалось, что цена сильно выше, чем у других вариантов. Так как я вообще не понимаю ничего в районах Токио, то тут уже ничего сказать не могу. Но это вариант для жизни. Квартира, которая встречала нас унитазом, ло сих пор снится мне в страшных снах😅 Удачи в поиске😊

Even though it makes me feel a bit trapped i kind of see myself actually having a comfortable living there. The windows helps a lot and the kitchen bathroom distribution is comfortable except for that panel haha

It is better than I initially thought it would be. But I still think it would feel cramped, with no space to walk around. With the more square shaped micro apartment, there is some small space to walk around a bit. But with the rectangular ones, it is easy to feel trapped

Oh. My. Goodness. Another bathroom with glass for walls. Please excuse me for saying this but that toilet/kitchen area reminds me of a vulgar saying: Never sh*t where you eat. 😵 However, good points: refrigerator, bath tub, washer, desk shelf. And those windows are wonderful even though the view is not nice. But the rent is too much to pay for such a skinny space.

Firstly i thought that it's looks like loggia. But it's not bad. It has a well-organized space. But transparent walls and doors in the bathroom... For me it's strange, i think

This one is nice! Weird shaped but enough space for everything! You can even cook a little and have a refrigerator! Plus there’s a bathtub, a small one sure, but a bathtub! A bit expensive, but it seems like it’s a very convenient area!

Из того, что мы видели, это самый удачный вариант, мне кажется. Единственный крупный недостаток этой квартиры - отсутствие мест хранения. Но, как многие уже отметили, это может быть решено. В ванной комнате повесить полку для бумаги и прочих вещей, а в комнате можно вместо кровати соорудить подиум, сверху будет матрас, а снизу вместительные ящики для хранения вещей. К сожалению, места на полу для установки дополнительной мебели типа шкафа или комода нет, поэтому имеющаяся у вас кровать не подойдет, да и все другие кровати, продающиеся в магазине, имеют только боковые ящики, а в квартире не хватит места, чтобы их выдвигать, слишком узкое помещение. Плюсы: удобная кухонная зона, наличие холодильника и стиральной машины, ванна, два окна и много света, встроенный стол для работы, хорошая инфраструктура рядом. Минусы: предстоящие затраты на мебель на заказ, увеличатся транспортные расходы. Я не помню, сколько вы тратите на аренду сейчас, поэтому не могу прикинуть, получится ли сэкономить при переезде. Удачи в поисках!

Olá Usui! Eu gostei bastante, viveria bem nesse apartamento. Boa localização, tem geladeira e máquina de lavar, você só teria que colocar a cama, a cadeira e uma prateleira para armazenar o papel higiênico, os acabamentos são bons e bonitos, boa luminosidade e tem um aspecto limpo! Sempre tem um cantinho pra empilhar caixas organizadoras, assim você poderia guardar suas coisas! Fique bem, torço por você!😉🇧🇷

Maybe a loft bed, so you can have storage underneath? But the ladder would probably have to be at one end rather than either side. The amenities admittedly seem nice.

This is the closest we've seen to a proper kitchen yet. A desk too. Sure it's narrow, but if a single bed fits that could work.

I quite liked this one. It seemed to have a nice feel to it.

I like the design of the room with toilet and shower pretty much, I like the window there too. But better dont have a visitor in your mikroapartment ^^' I do not like the open kitchenette, I would use curtains or wood to close the area under the sink and the entry. I also like the small table area near the washing machine, and the windows. The remaining space is quite small for sleeping and living, but its nicely separated by the rest of the room and its bright.

I like this one, I didn't think I would.They make a chair that folds out into a bed, I think that would work well here

I have never been a fan of the micro apartment kitchenettes. Cause I love counter space and the kitchen here has lots of it. And there's a fridge there too. At first I thought it looked pretty cramped but it's very liveable. A second and third curtain would solve the privacy on the bathroom and toilet. I didn't know what to call it before, but underbed storage here is useful too. I can live here😊. And there's no ladders, so it's a win win for Usui-san ❤.

I want to have my bathroom remodelled in my regular sized apartment. Your series gives me good ideas on how to make a small but fully featured bathroom. I want to get a Japanese style bathtub! There is a company in the UK that manufactures ones that are similar in size and shape. This apartment seems too small and narrow on first glance, but the built in features are very nice and make it more livable. The shelf next to the washing machine would make a good small desk and the computer could double as a TV.

This one is quite spacious, modern, clean and has a lot of natural light. I just love the natural wood flooring and the shelf made from the same wood. For such a small space, this is quite a well-arranged appartament! The area for the bed is also isolated, which makes it compatible with the rules of feng shui

Usui. The only thing I liked about that apartment was the wood flooring. No closet, no shelves. Nope. Honestly, you would need to get a sofa that opens up into a bed. Nothing can fit in there. There is too much rent for this place .

Hello Usuisan, I think that this apartment has too little bang for the bucks. Your current apartment is much more affordable and better laid out. This just seems like a very expensive bowling alley. I vote to keep looking, but as always, it's up to you.

This could be a serious contender to your present apartment. The toilet has more leg room and the unit even has a ref and freezer.
