Every Fierce hunting video inevitably involves 3-4 follow up shots that "smoked 'em"... Maybe just get within 500yds for once?

First congrats on a great bull. I see this edit omits the second shot from the original video upload. I am sure the comments were not comfortable but it is a bit disingenuous to show this version of events. In this era of hunting long shots are the new hotness but the actual hunt is good opportunity to encourage people to get out with their rifles and practice a ton before taking these long shots. Also a good visual on the importance of getting another round in the chamber and take that follow up right away -as can be heard in the video with someone encouraging a quick follow up. Let’s be honest in the future guys.

this is a great example of why not to take long range shots on live targets. The shooter and crew did their best to make it sound like this hunt and shot went entirely to plan. If this was the plan, it was a horrible plan. Having to take multiple nonlethal shots that wounded an animal and caused undo pain and anxiety on a one of gods creatures is disgusting. I wonder how long it took to cover the 1000 yards to get over to the bull and he was still very much alive. He wasn't even close to death. Then later talking about putting in extra shots until they go down? If multiple nonlethal shots were not taken, that bull would still be out there living the dream. The only fatal shot was the last one and that was with spotters directing you guys where to go. If phones or radios were used it was certainly against the game laws. Then all the crew congratulating and saying "you smoked him" after the first shot and second shot and third shot before the final 4th shot, hen in fact, all but the last shot were horrible shots. Then she said she was getting ticked off. Really? How do you think the bull felt. I appreciate how you did show what long range hunting really is.

This is a perfect example of what not to do if you can't go after the animal and get with in a 100 yards with a rifle you need to go play Golf

Well Let’s see Aubree and the crew really should be banned from ever hunting in the United States ever again. I believe all this video does is show a complete and total lack of ethics and true sportsmanship. The so-called guide and the so called hunters should be brought up on charges. A video like this is going to make people think it’s ok to lob rifle fire at 1000 yards. Really a terrible thing to do And then to post it on KZfaq is just completely disgusting unacceptable behavior

I will say first I love fierce. I now own two. One of which I had fierce custom build. I hear others about the long range shot and I will say these yardages are definitely out of my skill level. People on there think tho , every animal is a one shot kill but that’s just not the case. I’ve put 3 good shots in one whitetail under 50 yards before. It’s hunting but yea it’s kinda pushing it here.

I’m a lifelong hunter , I have completed my sheep grand slam and have 3 of the big Five in the books and to me this is not ethical . Sad Sad , this is shooting not Hunting why doesn’t she get on her feet and work to earn a closer ethical shot . Lazy and not good for hunting …..SAD ….
