Not going to happen because we have Jabari smith jr and alpi at the 5 , And cam could be insurance if Jalen dosent pan out so nope , we are good

Houston will not give up any of the core including Jalen, Sengun, Bari, Tari, Amen and Cam unless you’re offering a top 15 player which Lauri is simply not, and that’s not a dig it’s just Houston is basically the rich kid with all the shiny new toys (hence each one of the core will provide winning basketball to any team they go to whilst all being under 24)

Jazz should move John Collins and Jordan Clarkson. They dont make sense on this team. Lauri does. One of a kind talent that wants to be here. Jazz should focus on trade up on this draft.

No team in their right mind is matching the required price for Markkanen while he's an expiring contract, so you should probably save yourself the time and move on from the idea lol.

I hate to be that guy, but I don't think Utah wants Whitmer. They passed on him in the draft as he fell, I think they had him red flagged. Either way, I wouldn't take that trade. Markkanen is special, if other teams can't see that, then keep him and build around and with him. Ron Holland > Castle.

So in that deal you send Houston #29 and or 32. No need for 4 picks. So if Houston has an issue there’s a small added bonus of two late picks. I’d trade 3/10 to Spurs for 4/8 if they want Sheppard . Still draft castle at 4 but now you make sure you get Williams or Salaun at 8

I like it for the Jazz as the pick are quality picks and I'm a fan of Whitmore, but I would try a switch him with Amen as the Jazz need a guard more than a forward.

I think Lauri would require more draft equity or a different young HOU player. The dude can hit nearly 40% on 3's on nearly 8 attempts, can rebound well, and plays above the rim. He truly is a unicorn and doesn't need the ball to be effective. That is super valuable in today's league.

I think Houston view their core 6 as almost completely off limits, so any trade with them would have to be centered around picks and salary fillers.

Nerd you are the number 1 trader of Lauri. You should know that the Jazz are not trading Lauri. He will resign a new contract in August and keep playing in Utah. Lauri Loves Utah and Utah Loves Lauri.

Nope and watch more tape on castle he can not shoot at all we have a point gaurd that defensive and cant shoot on the bench castle is just not good enough to trade lauri for not even close

As a Rocket fan, right now it makes sense. In five years when Cam is averaging 25+ a game, no it does not make sense. Smith will soon be a 20/10 guy. Rockets need to be patient.

Lauri being injury prone on an expiring contract and Rockets having a young Jabari Smith - think they say NO. Too much to give up imo, not to mention Whitmore has star upside as well
