Oh man as someone who escaped Utah, this video reminded me of so many things that I just cant explain to other people. The diet coke, the high pitched voices, the loud clanking of the cups between fake laughs in the better home and gardens house... amazing work.

@@lt3968 gosh it's so hard to explain. It is very much a Utah mormon in certain parts of the state thing. Like you probably won't find a lot of Mormon mom's/culture like this in SLC. You also won't find it in Mormons outside of Utah unless you're in certain parts of Idaho and Arizona. The church and church community definitely drive these cultural things in a way that is hard to explain. Very keeping up with the Joneses, being the best Mormon to impress the others, having kids getting involved in ways they don't understand. It's all very complicated. Another part of this culture is MLMs like omg. Almost all MLMs home bases are in Utah.

As a person from utah, i have met this person and been to her house. Like- this is so accurate it hurts. Everything from the green screen, talking patterns and mannerisms is so accurate it hurts

@@bl3343 well so I am not Mormon, but have Mormon friends. I missed the memo that I found via Google that some Mormons say they can have cold caffeine but not hot? I also wonder if some are more strict than others about it. So my original comment shows my ignorance I guess. Mormon friends in IL didn’t do cold caffeine and root beer was a popular choice with several.

Learned the hard way, in book club. It's definitely best to keep my opinions to myself. There's always a queen bee and her attendants. Then there's the ones that are gonna be kicked out of the hive for pretty much anything. LOL The queen bees can be intense.
