3 жыл бұрынPatrick Page is well known at the Festival, regionally, on Broadway, and on London Stages. In this virtual seminar, he will discuss his life in the theatre and the many Shakespearean roles he has played, as well as his numerous iconic performances on Broadway, including the Green Goblin in Spider Man, the Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Scar in The Lion King, and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. He recently received a Tony Award nomination for his role as King Hades in Hadestown. He also performed at the Festival in numerous roles from 1984 to 1989.

I saw Patrick as Lumiere at the Lincoln center in DC. He received a standing ovation that was epic. I think of his wonderful performance often.

I was lucky enough to see him at the USF in 1984 and a few times after that. Such an amazing actor! What a treat to hear him in this forum.

I saw him play Richard III both at USF and Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake. He made me feel sorry for how Richard was treated. Fantastic!

Thank you so much for a super discussion, Brian, Michael and Patrick. I was lucky enough to see Patrick perform from 1984 to 1989 in cedar city and in Salt Lake City several times at pioneer theatre and a small theatre downtown. He was the most amazing Shakespeare actor. Absolutely fabulous. Richard the third at pioneer theatre at least twice and nothing like the sun in cedar city and salt lake at least twice. Also another show at a local junior high school in salt lake and the opening of the Randall theatre in 1989. Thank you for all your super performances and for being here with Brian and Michael.
