You have done a better job in presenting the UTG 360 bipod than any of the other youtube presentations. You explained, showed and gave me a good understanding that I now need to purchase the adapter. The gun store salesman didn't even ask if I needed that while I was purchasing the bipod....Thanx again.

Sorry for the long wait for a reply. First off THANK YOU! Usually an adapter comes with the Bipod, but I purchased extra so all of my rifles could have one.

Finally someone that knows how to give a well thought out review, thank you. Now I have a question, would you trust this bipod to be rugged enough to use it a S.H.T.F battle rifle? I also want to tell about another device I have been using on my AR for about a year now and it has been great. It is a Strike Industries Mag Pod, it replaces the magazine bottom plate letting you use your magazine as a monopod. It has held up great and it is stable, the only downside is that you can not change the length.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I learned in the Army, never use your mag for support. I can eventually wear down the lips of your magazines and possibly the feeder..........but if you like it, stick with it. On the UTG being trustworthy, yeah I think so, I haven’t done any completive shooting for quite a spell. But I use it on all my hunting rifles also with great result so far.

I’m pumped. A nice bi-pods shouldn’t cost the consumers 300 bucks. I just ordered the 360 for the AR, and the utg recon mlock system for my distance gun, and got out for less than 120

I truly think you will like it, I have two more range rifles, both .308 bolt actions, and the UTG 360 still keeps doing what I want it to do

Thank you for the video. I'm curious if the cant tension will loosen up with use.

Neither of mine have so far, but I always check the tension screws before and after a range session and would advise you to do likewise. I imagine if I went a few sessions without checking, they may have the potential to loosen from recoil. Please bear in mind the 'weakest link of the chain" especially when shooting, the smallest thing can make for a bad and even dangerous range day. I check EVERYTHING! from my scope mount screws to my butt stock and buffer tube, and my bi-pod mounts.

Good comprehensive video review...I was looking at the Atlas bipods for 5 times the money and couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of dough. this one looks like pretty high quality, what did it run you?

I picked both of mine up from a local shop (now defunkt) for $40 each. A year or two ago these were new to the market and difficult to find, but are common now, so it has stabalized in the mid to high $40 range, and almost all retailers carry them.....even Wally World

It's also a UTG, I really don't remember which specific model it was, but I ordered them from the Leapers/UTG web page.

kingtut23456 - cool. its sold under several different brands. mine was some Chinese company name. its a good product but they screwed up the detailed machining for the flex base somehow. as from the box there was NO flex. a quick O-ring and washer addition was simple enough though. but i still prefer my recon 360°.

How does the tilt feature affect preload for taking longer shots?
@kingtut23456
@kingtut23456 5 жыл бұрын
I find it to be a plus myself, you can tilt the weapon to its side, and you can place the mag it the well easier (IMHO), but after a prolonged day, be sure to check the tension, and adjust as needed

kingtut23456 it’s on it now but still haven’t tested it out I’m waiting on a scope. What’s your opinion on Burris scopes?
@kingtut23456
@kingtut23456 6 жыл бұрын
I was a huge fan of Burris, but they change the scope models so quickly it makes me wonder. I have a MTAC 4-16x on my varmint rifle (223) and I am still on the fence about it. When I went to register it online, it was not on the Burris list any more, but it was new in the box from Cabelas. But I have had many Burris scopes over the years for regular hunting, in fact I have a very old 3-9x Fullfield I still use. If you are using it for deer go for it, they are still good about warranties. If it is for tactical or long range targets, check out SWFA.com, they have an inhouse brand called Super Sniper, ranging from fixed power to variable, the prices run from $300 to $1500, and something is usually on sale. They have MIL/MIL and MIL/MOA, all made in Japan

Since the feedback and support of our expermental tutorial has been positive, very soon we will start a legimitate and dedicated KZfaq Channel. It will range from hunting/Shooting sports and reviews of everyday items I use, such as Motorcycle Helments, What To Carry in your Vehicle Emergency Pack and so on. But it will not be as CavBrothers, as we learned there are many posters with this name. Although not established we may use the title Rational Preppers......as soon as we get going we may repost this video under the new name so when you see it you will recognize it. Thanks for the great feedback.
