Installing a new UtiliTech 1/2hp deep well water pump Model 0036860. Utilitech cast iron convertible jet pump, will it work? The UtiliTech cast iron convertible jet water pump, purchased this one at Lowes for $219.00.

yeah it was an old well pump, deff needed replacing. i just hate that it happend out of the blue 😐..no warning at all!!!

What about your pressure switch? My well hole is about 8 or 9 feet down. I hate going down there

yeah i changed it. but it didnt do nothing... i guess were just going to replace it all, its an old pump. ughhh

just redid my 2'' well i can tell you one its not fun see if you got power and get ride of that light swich and get the pump on the mane power that will kill the pump quick

Oh man. I take back every bad thing I ever said about my crawlspace where my pump is. That would suck going into that hole. I hope it's a simple fix for you. Not to sound stupid, but is there a fuse or a circuit breaker where that wire connecting the pump is? Maybe that went bad or something. Just a thought.

yeah its crazy man, deff not easy to get up out of. but the wire? nope i got a lil buzz from that while down there. so the power is good. im thinking eithee the pressure tank at the top or the switch that makes it switch on and off. hopefully it is an easy fix!! and thanks for watching, lol ill have more video up tomorrow or the next day.

Oh ok. It was a thought I just had. Hope you get her fixed easily. I think our switch went out a few times. The contacts inside get corroded and the switch doesn't work any more.

turned out to be the diaphram tank on top, but we ended up just getting a whole new pump, the old one was pretty worn out. so were back in business now thank god 😆
