Installing a new UtiliTech 1/2hp deep well water pump Model 0036860. Utilitech cast iron convertible jet pump, will it work? The UtiliTech cast iron convertible jet water pump, purchased this one at Lowes for $219.00.

I remember helping dad replace his well pumps at least a half-dozen times. They looked like torpedoes and had to be lowered way down into the well. Then he had another pump similar to yours for added pressure.

yeah that was my first time actualy replacing a pump. i must of done something right, it still works lol

Cool man. Can this pump be used just to suck water out of 300 gallon water tanks above ground to my home thats 6 feet above ground

our well is 70 ft, so it should work. but i would look it up first to make sure

How deep is the water well ?

i would say about 60ft. not completley sure.
