Just finished this game last night and "incredible" is an accurate description. Loved it and looking forward to experiencing it all over again with this playthrough. Already can't wait for part 2.

A lot of the criticism is from gamers who don't like how the game is different from other games because its main focus isnt gameplay, but the imersion and experience. Its fair to be dissatisfied if you were looking for a more typical game experience, but I see nothing wrong with heavy imersion story telling games like these. Especially, ones that try to depict something like psychosis or schizophrenia with honesty and accuracy.

The lack of UI and the graphics really add to the realism of this game and make it an extremely intense experience. I've seen people complaining about the length but i think if it was over 20 hours it would be miserable to live in that world so long. Most games i would say an 8 hour story is too short especially for the price of AAA games these days but i think it works for Hellblade 2. I look forwarding seeing you experience this work of art.

The first visual puzzle symbol looks a little bit like a trolls cross which was used by vikings as a protection from evils but also given to someone about to set off on a long journey.

Love how Bun waited until the end to show up. It shows when it's a great game when she let you play without interrumptions 🙂 There's a streamer who mentioned a few years ago that games are becoming too realistic at a point where it makes you wonder how realistic they need to be, and if there needs to be a limit. A game like this didn't existed back then (closest thing is the bodycam one), and it does now. Hellblade 2 looks like an actual movie in some parts and I'm still mindblown that you got to work on it.

Wow! What a beginning!! I thought the first Hellblade was amazing, this so far, nothing short of fantastic!! The way she bury's a sword into all her enemies is next level graphic, but like you said all of them are made out of 🧀😂 Thanks so much Anna can't wait to see more!

I love the combat because they didn’t change it from the first game,also the giants were a cool addition.this game is right up there with a plague tale as far as being immersed in the story and caring about the characters.

Will the game come to ps5 ?

While the game is technically impressive and another step into melting live action film and realtime rendered CGI into one ("Interactive movies, everyone! It's happening!"), the first game was far more imaginative and tight in regards to story, environments and gameplay. "Hellblade 2" feels more like an experimental afterthought to see what is possible. I personally would have been more interested in a remaster/remake of the first game with additional story/gameplay elements ("embedded DLC") using the new abilities of the current Unreal technology.
