Жыл бұрынFrom the UWS-4 Aerodynamic Design we've done so far, we have enough information to begin the design of the structural ribs of the UWS-4. In this video we look at the Ultra Cruiser ultralight ribs designed by Morry Hummel to give us some inspiration.

I like your videos. Very educational and specific application. I like when you say specifics like the nose rib weighs 68 G the other Rib weighs 127 G

I was also thinking of One Piece ribs that contains structural truss cuts and engineered flanges rather than just holes

Nice! Those ribs are very light! I wonder if hydo-formed top and bottom halves would work for the nose ribs? It would save a lot of material.
