@@tamasbrenyo1348 The key thing I have realised is being excited and curious. Whatever you do, be it your portfolio projects, any freelance work you do or work on complex projects in your job, just be excited to find solutions. Its easier to find your way once you are genuinely passionate about it. Another tip, improve storytelling. Make it unique, make it you. Iterate as much on your story as you do on your designs. Make yourself interesting. It works. Hope these tips help :)

Hi, guys. Thank you for the video! Here is my experience: I've studied UX/UI for six months through courses. Then I found an internship where I could practice on real projects and had a mentor who helped me build a solid foundation of knowledge. After the internship, I've completely built my portfolio from scratch and got rid of my old projects that didn't represent my level anymore. Currently, I am looking for a Junior UX/UI designer position. My approach is directly emailing the companies, connecting with their UX/UI designers, talking about their daily job, the environment, and the possibilities for a new designer. Right now, due to the pandemic situation here in Bulgaria, job searching for juniors is a very long process, and there are lots of candidates, but I am on my way, slowly but surely! Thank you so much for creating this video! So so helpful! I'm just starting out my UX/UI Journey and have been slightly overwhelmed with the material out there. I've got a small roadmap but am really happy to receive the insight into the courses you've recommended and will definitely check them out. The part on setting yourself a deadline is probably what has resonated with me the most. I'm looking to do a career change so am in very early days of discovering this area. I'm incredibly lucky to have plenty of time to learn and play but that can be wasted without a deadline - thank you for adding this critical reminder!

thank you SO much for this. i am currently a graphic design major at an arts university, and have been feeling lost about where i want to take my career. i took a gap year due to the virus, and have had a ton of free time recently. i stumbled upon ux design and i have a feeling it could be the perfect blend of design and tech for me. this video helped me feel a bit less overwhelmed with learning more! keep it up!!!

This definitely helps. I also put out content on how to get into the field too, as I'm currently a UX Designer at UNICEF, but have interviewed at Johnson & Johnson, and will be interviewing at Roblox, but have been inspired by you guys.

Wow, these tips are incredibly helpful, and not just for UX Design! I'm a Computer Science student, and I can see many of your tips (like using the requirements of job postings as goals, writing up an elaborate article about a project, the canvas strategy, etc.) being applicable in many different areas within computer science. Thanks for making this video!
