Ride along with me on the spiffy Afrosiyob train, leaving bright and early from Tashkent and arriving in Samarkand 2 hours later, and then Bukhara 90 minutes after that. The Afrosiyob uses Spanish-manufactured Talgo trains and currently has a top cruising speed of 250 KPH (160 MPH).
