@@crnimarko9198 Rekao sam to figurativno i apsolutno u pozitivnom smislu. Što se komunizma tiče, nestao je sa naših prostora prije tačno 30 godina i apsolutno nije kriv ni za rat ni za sankcije ni za bilo kakva dešavanja posle 90' godine. Da se podsjetimo posle je došao kapitalizam sa svim svojim "čarima" u kojima sve više tonemo.

@@Markonixyz Због тог проклетог комунизма,нама Србима су највише зла нанели ,после другог светског рата. А што се тиче 90-тих ,да нисмо били комунисти као држава не би било ни бомбардовања,не би било ни Милошевића ,ни Туђмана ,ни Усташа, ни Алије ,ни Ђукановића итд....Све је то због комунизма. Да смо остали краљевина Србија или република као Французи после другог светског рата,нико нас не би дирао никад,били би Швајцарци број 1 у Европи.

@@crnimarko9198 Komunizam nije uzrok, pojavio se na našim prostorima kao reakcija na izražene društvene nejednakosti prije i u periodu svetskih ratova. Male plate, dnevni rad po 10-12 sati, rad djece,visoka stopa smtnosti odojčadi a da ne govorimo o ratovima koje elita često nije osetila. Komunizam ima mnogo mana ali u poređenju sa neoliberalnim kapitalizmom danas izgleda kao dečja igra. Nisam pomenuo da smo u periodu tog komunizma bili od svih priznati kao regionalna sila, nešto slično Španiji ili Turskoj. A danas smo svi đuture kolonija što opet u komunizmu nismo bili.

Oh, please !!! THIS is NOT a SONG by master-thief Bregović. He simply "borrowed it" without asking its author for permission and changed its title to "Đurđevadan" or the Orthodox Feast of St. George celebrated by the Serbs EVEN THOUGH the SONG has NOTHING to do WITH SERBS or THEIR RELIGIOUS FESTIVAL. The SONG is ABOUT THE ROMA PEOPLE, for THE ROMA PEOPLE and sung BY THE ROMA PEOPLE.

@@amarmulic2265 Ne poistovjećuj se s Bregovićem jer za razliku od tebe on Jugosloven tj. Srbin/Hrvat rođen u Bosni a da nije musliman. Zar njegov Orkestar za svadbe i sahrane tj. njegovi trubači s Guče gore nemaju veze sa Srbijom? Glazba mu više vuče na srbijanski i romski tj. balkanski, a manje na orijentalni melos koji je tipičan za bosanske pjevače Al Dina, Merlina ili Harija Mata Harija.

Nessim K. S. : je vis en Algérie depuis ma naissance, je ne comprend pas ta question. Je suis algérien. Sinon les algériens d’origine ottomane sont partout et dans toutes les villes et ont fortement contribué à la construction de la république et à la révolution d’indépendance (le théâtre national porte le nom d’un algérien d’origine ottomane). Ce ne sont pas des janissaires, mais des fonctionnaires de l’administration ottomane, des simples artisans ou des Kouloughlis (famille mixtes).

Tu dis justement que ton grand père vient de Bosnie, je m’interrogeais donc sur tes origines, qui, bien évidemment, font partie de la mosaïque identitaire algérienne. (J’ai l’impression que t’es sur la défensive, je ne fais absolument pas partie des tenants de la « pureté » des origines. Je pense au contraire, que le mérite et le droit priment.) et si, justement, tes ancêtres étaient janissaires ou faisaient partie de l’Administration Ottomane, tu as tout à fait ta place dans ton pays😉)

It's actually a song of the gypsies from Northern Macedonia, entirely sung in the Roma language. Bregović briefly "borrowed" it and is only to be credited for the song becoming popular. He did several versions of the song, in Serbian, Polish and even Greek language. "Tou Ai Giorgi" ("Saint George's", Greek: "Του Αη Γιώργη") with Greek singer Alkistis Protopsalti, even though the song celebrates the return of the spring "Ederlezi" in Roma language, and not St George.

Once again The Voice of France is unique in all the world. You could never see this on any other program. Wonderful Roma singing. It reminds me of Ando Drom, and it's great singer, Mitsou. She is singing " Ederlezi: sao roma daje" from the movie "The Time of the Gypsies." Also, I have to say how much I admire Zazie and Mika. They turn because they like something, not because they might win, but simply as a matter of admiration not calculation.

This song “Ederlezi” is on Romani language written by a Serbian & this is a second version. First version is on Serbian language called “Djurdjevdan”. Both versions are beautiful.

Wrong. The song was neither composed nor lyrics written by G. Bregović but rather by a self-taught Roma or gypsy singer-song writter! Bregović, a Serbo-Croat from Bosnia, just stole and re-arranged the lyrics. The song has nothing to do with the observance of the Serbian Orthodox celebration of St George or "Đurđevdan". That's how Bregović renamed it when he FRIST STOLE IT WITHOUT ASKING ITS AUTHOR FOR PERMISSION.

The TRUTH IS, Bregovic acknowledged he ripped off the real author ONLY AFTER THE TIME of THE GYPSES was released ,but in the credits the music is attributed to him. Bregovic is not such an ingeious composer...

@@bogdanlevi7483 The original song called 'Djurdjevdan' was sang by the imprisoned serbs in trains on their way towards concentration camp Jasenovac in Croatia. The song dates from the time of WWII. It has nothing to do with gypsies, Goran Bregovic assosiated it with them.

I believe it is a Roma (Gypsy) song from the Balkans. I think it was sung by Mitsou and the group, Ando Drom. To learn more about the Roma people and their history, I suggest reading the book, "Bury me Standing," by Isabel Fonseca.

To all who wrote “the Balkans music”, Ederlezi is Roma people folk song and the music is, like the said people, originally from Rajahstan. Not your typical Serbian or Balkans tune.

In your voice of interweaving colors and emotions, I can clearly see a girl who painfully remembers her hometown, listening to the creek of the stream beside which she washes and invites those who are with you and so far! So picturesque described in a voice in my life, I didn't hear a performance like this when you experienced this alone! You deserve all the votes, not just two! Only an artist's soul can do a song like this! You were alive and singing while you were alive!

The song originated on Djurdjevdan in wagons full of Serbs and Gypsies sent by fascists on their way to camps. The song is about the feast, the celebration of St. George, and the distance of the inmates from their family on that day.

Sorry, but this is complete bs. The song did not ORIGINATE on those waggons. It is much older, which is not only documented, but proven by all the adaptions done in almost every country and region the Gypsies reached over the centuries.

Горан не сочинял эту песню - он украл ее у македонского цыганского певца. Песня о страданиях и судьбе цыган поется на цыганском языке.
