the game seems to lean more on hard pve which I LOVE seeing as pvp is already pretty fleshed out. Keep updating this, don't let this game die! Love the work you are doing!

@kanekarazi6477 I love the core of the game. The building, the combat, the mob mechanics, the fights, but it has the makings of a single-player rpg grind with RUST levels of hardcore pvp, and most people just can't devote their lives to a game as a job.

*Theory* *The vampires in V Rising are not vampires at all. They are blood elves.* There are currently no elves in v rising, However all vampires in v rising have distinctly pointed ears, seemingly for no reason despite supposedly being vampires(humans turned into vampiric creatures which is how we most commonly recognize vampires in fictional stories as turned humans). Furthermore, this pointy eared trait is not shared by any turned servants of the vampires, which for every concievable reason SHOULD BE just lower forms of vampires. This is further obfuscated by the fact that Styx the sunderer(an ancient vampire/blood elf) summons creatures known as withered vampires that also share the pointy eared trait, though they are very clearly not his servants and seem to be other bloodelves that he has made into some starving slobbering thrall. The Servants do however apparently consume blood essence which is required to make and revive them and they do take on the same skin tone and hair colors as vampires. However they lack the need to stay out of the sun making them more so sapient zombies or ghoullike creatures. Furthermore all vampires upon the start of their journey spawn with 3 inherent blood magic abilities being a common trope in fantasy and scifi to portray elves with inherent magic ability further adding to the idea that the vampires of v rising are actually just elves. The important point of difference here is that the main difference between the vampires we know(in other words a human who is bitten by another vampire) and the blood elves of v rising(just a blood elf) is that one, the vampire is transformed from a human... Whereas the blood elf was never a human to begin with and was rather born or created. Also they are elves so... yuck.

@@BasedChadman As a single player game it's chocked full of content and dozens of boss fights, especially after the Gloomrot update. There's tons of content to sink your fangs into, regardless if you play solo or multiplayer. And it doesn't matter if it stands the test of time because financially, it was already a smash hit, selling almost twice as many copies as Battlerite before any official launch. So just imagine how much better the game is going to sell once May 8th hits.

@SidewaysGts I'm not implying that a game should. I've been involved in about 10 servers now that bleed 70% of the players within the first two weeks because of the massive advantage the no-life gankers obtain, and the lack of end game grind leads said players to have nothing better to do. Stunlock created a great foundation, but they will need to figure something out for player retention.

Just waiting for May 8th. I dont like hype trains, but I am on this one and my Anxiety issues are driving full steam ahead. But for real, the game is amazing and am looking forward to 1.0, even if I am not a fan of the skill unlocking system revamp that's coming. Always loved having the ability to compare gaining skills to Highlander (TV Series and Movie) to people and that feel of being The One as I am draining the power out of my enemy.

Please look into making class specific weapon traits. Something similar to diablo but easily changed. Your character can devote to one of the ability classes be it (Blood, Chaos, etc.) and that would effect their equipped weapon with certain effects. One of my issues with the game is weapons feel very disconnected from your character. It feels less like an equipment and more like a minecraft HUD. Which i personally dont find fitting for a game about making your build. Other good examples for options can be Path of Exile, where you can equip two weapons and shift through them on the go. But please make weapons feel like a powerful extension of your character, not just the stick that they happen to be holding at the time.

this isnt an rpg, classes will come from physical or magical with spell and weapons and jewels varying your builds. With this update armor variety is boosted so means more build speccing in that way

I'm a little confused by this comment. Artifact weapons are already imbued with the passive effect of a spell class, and why would you need to be able to switch weapons, when you literally can swap to any weapon you want on your tool bar? The wide scope of weapon abilities already complement and define play styles.

@@Spriktor You keep leaving this same comment all over the place, but it's just wrong on multiple levels. To start with, the 2 minute queue you're referencing on NA is a myth 90% of the time, and the other 10% it's the same tiny group of veteran players. New players aren't touching this game because it's not played enough, it's not talked about enough, it's not streamed enough, and worst of all it's no longer being supported by the developers. That lack of support not only means that players don't have new content to look forward to, but it also means that the game isn't receiving balance updates-- something it desperately needs in the current build. If you seriously think the game isn't dead after this, then you're delusional.

In peak hours you get 2-5 minute queue It's half bad/new players half veterans. The best players don't play too much anymore and when they do it's usually inhouses. Not sure for how long and how many new players stay but i always find some. Game is well balanced, only shen is not Matches quality is not good because of the skill variety which is the biggest turn off to play, but you can have fun if you aren't very good Regular updates aren't needed but it would be nice if there were 😢

I do hope they add PVE NPC raids, maybe have hordes of enemies led by a special elite something on the level of Paladins or Light weavers, not a V blood because that would require designing entire bosses for each faction that could raid (also making them regular npcs would allow for more varieties of servants). just special nameless units like "Militia Captain", "Vampire Hunter", "Alpha Werewolf" shit like that depending on either what zone you're castle is in or what enemies you've attacked the most. course should be something toggleable but right now raiding is something you can only experience on a PvP server and from my experience those die pretty quickly once privileged few rise to the top and start griefing everyone, would be nice to give PvE a taste of that without the added annoyance of randos

If you join a solid community server they laat longer. The issue is no endgame which this update finishes. Pve raids are prob the most popular request but wont make it for 1.0

@@Spriktor Oh I'm aware, and I know they've mentioned looking into it, though beyond that I don't think they've mentioned it again. I'm just putting my Idea of how it could work, I've heard other people mention raids with V bloods in it but frankly that sounds like a pain in the ass to deal with as well as just putting even more work on the devs. As for joining a community server, I don't really trust people not to abuse power and I'd rather not have progress wiped when I wouldn't want it to be which is why I play solo or with friends on a personally hosted server. It'd just be nice for the world to feel more interactable, especially for PvE which I know is not their main focus but it's still a substantial part of the player base

The game is insane , i love it . Stunlock please pleaseeee bring back No wipe Official servers . Atleast 1 or 2 would be enough give the players that want an no wipe server the choice .

There is too many niches they can make official servers for which just ends in clutter. Officials are the worst way to experience the game either join a good community or make your private server with no wipes. All these pve players mad about a 6month wipe cycle when they all quit after 1 or 2

@@Spriktor Yea, I think that if a bunch of people collectively decide to play Battlerite again it would be great. People pop in and out, just as we did, to see if there are ppl playing and after getting matched to the same 2 people for 5 matches they leave again, which is fair. I think secretly there's quite the playerbase for Battlerite, but we don't realize it because dont check it out at the same time (:

Dear developers, pay attention to the balance of pvp, the game has clans and speedrunners who quickly pump everything and ordinary players in pvp against them have no chance, as well as easy raids - they need to make them expensive. If you do that, the game will be perfect in my eyes.

or you join the V arena server for battlerite goodness. Or even better we as the players keep promoting people to play it so sls sees the numbers go up again. We still play Battlerite, eu and na casual q is 2 min to instant so thats beyond amazing.
