Dual cab V8 Landcruiser VDJ79 fitted with a Unichip Q4 & injector drivers with 5 map switch custom tuned on our dyno, NPC 1300nm clutch with new billet flywheel, our crossover pipe & Taipanxp catch can.
With an increase of 80% in power and torque at 2400rpm, the power at the wheels went from 87rwkw to 157rwkw and Torque from 412nm to 739nm at the flywheel. All on 35" Mickey Thompson tyres and with the standard factory turbo and factory intercooler.

A huge thanks to travis and Jess from ss autos. Had the cross over pipe, Uni chip, catch can and Npc clutch put in last week. Could not be any happier with the results that he made. By far the best mods I have done yet. Can't forget the quality of service and advice as well. Will see you next month for my 40,000 km service. Thanks again guys done a terrific job 👍

hey.. just wanted to ask when you say injector drivers does that mean you change the stock injectors?? what do the drivers do?

So TOYOTA have basically DETUNED the engine for Euro5 ...?

Aswell as reliability. Why do you think a stock hilux with a 2.8 L engine makes more power than a stock 4.5L V8? Because the engine is incredibly over built for the power Toyota tuned it for.

What does the Cross over pipe do? Do I really need it?

It feeds the exhaust gasses from the drivers side, to the other side where the turbo is. Factory cross-over pipe is small dia and poorly designed for flow. I have one on order but have not received it yet.
