I called VA ask for the c-file 6 months later I asked where is my c-file the guy said they started the first two months after me asking for my c-file he said the dept working on c-file just stopped so for 4 months nothing was done. Then he said Iam sending a letter asking them why they stopped and that you still need your c-file it’s been 8 months still no response.

I received a 10% on my right knee backdated to 2010 on 30 Nov 23. Award ltr said I would receive payment within 10 days if payment is due. To date I have received no payment. VA website shows claim under audit. Is this normal? Is there any scenario where I’m due no payment?

Currently 40% with tinnitus, PACT HBP and depression secondary to the tinnitus. Have filed for hearing loss but been denied at initial level and HLR. VA claims that my hearing between my induction and separation were the same and thus my hearing loss was not service related. Had my own hearing evaluation done by audiologist with 35+ years experience. FYI, I am 70 years old. Her opinion was that my hearing loss was as likely as not to have been caused by my service time. Is it worth it for me to move it on to the BVA? Is it worth pursuing at all because of the VA's funny math for ratings? Thank you in advance!

Several months ago, I participated in one of your Webinars, I mentioned that I had filed a Disability Claim based upon JP5 in the drinking water on an aircraft carrier (CV 60 USS Saratoga) in 1970-71. One of your attorneys, laughed at me and said: (Wouldn't the officers have to drink the same water?) and dismissed my question. I filed a claim based on CDD Stage 4A and Peripheral Neuropathy and was approved at 70%. I had sent an email attempting to inform you that there were a lot of guys subject to this same toxin. Anyway, subsequent to filing that claim, the doctors found another issue which was a malignant growth on my bladder. I submit that this was caused by the same toxic exposure. I am in the process of filing a VA Form 21-526 EZ. Is this the correct form to have the additional diagnosis considered.

Is this a "CUE"? Eye condition, the VA hospital have my diagnosis. I have meds prescription from the VA hospital. I have STR in Iraq for the eye condition. I was denied because rater says there is no diagnosis. (I thought they have access to the VHA to see the diagnosis)

I'd call it a DTA, since VHA records aren't in the VBS system. If you submitted that info with the claim, do an HLR and point it out. If have VSO and within 30 days of decision, ask VSO to do a CAR.

@@jdminn4 I didn't submit the diagnosis, I assumed rater would be able to see vha since they added me to sign the medical release form

@jollygreen4662 I'd get with a VSO or someone who can access VBMS, see if they received your VHA medical records for the eye diagnosis; sometimes they mislabel evidence and miss it. If it's there, try the CAR or HLR route. If not there, I'd try a supplemental with fresh statement, VHA and STR records. Never hurts to give them the documents they need to speed things up--also makes it harder to claim they didn't see it.
