I had Vertigo claim denied in record time in 2022 .... Less than 40 days. Since then I have obtained my C File. My in-service records are handwritten so they can't be searched digitally. I went through my C File manually and found records on "wide unsteady gait", "feeling of spinning to right", "wide gait", "sensation of losing balance", "RSOM, eustachian tube blockage, swollen lymph node" and so on. Would this denial be a CUE? Since they had the records in their possession but didn't consider them?

My appeal was grant, one week later increase granted, one week later retro was paid, very fortunate

Is the VA going to start recognizing AFFF/pfas, pfas to be service connected? My husband has 4 claims that were denied and now in appeals for almost two years. He also just had a C&P for prostate cancer. Submitted the claim in September of 23 and just had the C&P last week 2/27/24. He was an Air-force firefighter, crash fire and rescue and deep tunnel rescue at Whiteman and had his training at Chanute in Illinois which is now closed and is a superfund site for contamination.

Thank you for doing this. I was National Guard for 16 years. Can you please tell me if being on ADOS orders would count for service connection? The orders were “full time national guard duty-operation support” for full time military funeral honors duty.

20% Degenerative disc disease other than intervertebral disc syndrome (IVDS) with lumbosacral strain and intervertebral disc syndrome. Should they be rated separately? Thanks!!

Asking if you know of any attorneys that would take a case against the Va? I don’t mean for C&P..plus I’m a total 120%/80% va math 80%can I file for smcs

After years of appeal, VBA granted 100% PTSD with TBI residuals. Diagnostic Code 8045 and 9411. The letter mentions recommended for SMC and the need for A&A. I do have a VA Caregiver under the VA program. Which SMC may they rate me at? I know (T) is hard to get. However, I only applied for a rate increase and never applied for SMC. Do I need to apply for anything yet? It's a recent decision but have not heard from the Regional Office yet.

Have yaull ever have anyone swap over from scheduler 100% P@T to TDIU P&T due to not being able to work due to scd? Also would it be possible for that same person to get SMC-S?

I’m 50% for Migraines. I’m currently waiting for my decision for insomnia, sleep apnea, HTN, depression and anxiety. Will they connect these diagnoses or do I have to do that? (Primary,secondary)

I am 78 years old and suffered a fractured depressed concussion, as well as PTSD. Do I jepordise my rate of disability if I request an increase in rating? I don't understand, I am rated totally and permanently disabled at 80%.
