I AM NOT AN ANTI VAXXER, let's just get that straight. But what I AM, is anxious. I'm anxious about having to go somewhere to have an injection for a virus that we literally knew nothing about until a year ago. I'm anxious at the thought of becoming ill after having the Covid-19 vaccine.
I'd be just as anxious if I had to go to the doctors for a verruca removal, so there's nothing new here. If I have to go, I will go of course. But if this is optional and we really don't know too much about the efficacy or safety of any of the vaccines in circulation why would I want to risk that?
I've felt kind of under pressure lately to 'do the right thing' and get the vaccine, but my anxiety tells me that it's not something I should be putting myself through right now. I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether you are going to or even have had the vaccine already. How did it go? Did you have any side-effects? Are you looking forward to taking it? Or are you like me and unsure?
