Vacuum leak

Жыл бұрынHave codes P1688 and P0107. Took apart the intake to check for vacuum leaks and could not find anything. I did this exercise of spraying around vacuum fittings once before, but apparently did not pay close enough attention because I found the issue around the brake booster.
This is a 2006 Mini Cooper S JCW (Gen 1) with about 70k miles.

Did you end up tracking this down? My 03 JCW is having the same problem as yours. Been a pain for me to track down.

Probably best to do a smoke test to find a vacuum leak

Sure its not the intake your spraying where it picks up air from just asking

That's possible, as the JCW air box has a flap that opens around 3k. Not sure how much air it sucks at idle tho.

@oTHEBLESSEDHELLRIDEo Yeah, i believe there's like a 1 inch hole with a rubber peace that the box is fitted with to get fresh air from that area where the brake booster sits .
